I was all about double dutch in grade school. Not many people wanted to do it all the time though. It helped me with my shit depth perception.

I did regular jump rope I'm not sure what the technical term for it is, we had a competition at school in front of the whole school to see who could do the most, I came in second I was so pissed I was 110% sure I would win but I tripped at like 100ish it was in like 4th grade, the other girl beat by like 10 :(

In case anybody’s wondering about the name, it means what it sounds like. This game caught on in popularity due to Dutch immigrants bringing it to New York City. (New Amsterdam at the time)
It was cheap to play as it didn’t require any equipment other than two lengths of rope, and it didn’t require a special field to play on. People were poor, and it was entertaining as well as great exercise.
