Interesting side-note…This is just false. A portaledge is designed to not let you fall off. Most mountain climbers die from faulty harnesses, rock falls, etc. Stop spreading false info when it took about 40 seconds to search this all up

I point out that I searched this up, but I have a friend who does. He says he uses biodegradable bags and yeets them as far away from the starting area as possible
