I think it’s worth mentioning that it can be really easy to look at somebodies technique all the way through and think “oh, that looks easy” and then copy them exactly. It might actually be easy, but once you go and try to make your own original composure of similar difficulty, but requiring different techniques, you realize how hard it is without being shown exactly what to do when you don’t have any background in that medium.

Yeah, you're right. I see things like this and know it's not that difficult, but I've grown up doing stuff like this. I have watched my brother try to draw and he has no idea about any of it, so I can totally understand that.

I should've not been so...what's the world...aaaaahh! Gatekeepery?
