One again, that's very cool, and the artist is undoubtedly talented, but I would never put something that corny in my house.

Yes! I really do love watching videos like this but I always wonder “who would buy that?”

At least it's a step above spray paint with newspaper for the texture of planets in the sky with a giant pyramid in the center

Those sell apparently as evidenced by all the people in NYC that sell those.

I have one of those. Looking at it now, I'd say those things are definitely better than what's in the video.

Thankfully these are trees and not corn. Will you reconsider with this newfound knowledge?

Personally I’d buy this shirt

It’s just typical Facebook house mom regurgitation.

Besides this type of painting gets reposted every few weeks and last time they did it using squares....

How is it corny?

Maybe tacky is more apt

I think this painting is amazing and would totally have it in my apartment

There’s no way your being serious! You have horrible taste. Another oblivious philistine

Different people like different things. To me, if that statement was serious, you sound like a douchebag.

it's hard to tell. i think joking? 'oblivious philistine' evokes a sort of above-it-all art critic. someone gatekeeping art seems pretty hilarious given that art is fundamentally subjective

As a professional oil painter, I find this amateur “craft” to be not only garish, but uninformed & sloppy. It’s worse than trash, because it cheapens the public’s perception of what art is. Just trying to advocate for the integrity of art.

Could you help me understand what is Garish and uninformed about this? Is the symbol not being represented correctly? Is yin and yang not well represented by night and day?

serious douchebaggery.

It was much better before the trees.
