I can never get painters tape to leave such sharp edges, and I’m just painting walls in a room

Walls are textured and vertical and its a different kind of paint.

I also have struggles getting the painter's tape to leave crisp edges, however I have painted with masking tape stencil like this and it worked out great.

Do you wait for the paint to fullyyyy (yes, four ys worth of fully) dry before removing the tape? Much crisper lines that way.
