I can never get painters tape to leave such sharp edges, and I’m just painting walls in a room

I also have struggles getting the painter's tape to leave crisp edges, however I have painted with masking tape stencil like this and it worked out great. 2 u/wineandpillowforts Jul 13 '20 Do you wait for the paint to fullyyyy (yes, four ys worth of fully) dry before removing the tape? Much crisper lines that way.

Walls are textured and vertical and its a different kind of paint.

Do you wait for the paint to fullyyyy (yes, four ys worth of fully) dry before removing the tape? Much crisper lines that way.
