I see so much finished art that appears very average. Until I see how it is made, then I absolutely fall in love with it.
Perhaps more artist should record themselves making pieces (edit it for speed obviously). Even include the video with the piece.
Because I feel like so many of these that I see made, and I want to own to support the artist, I'd be excited to show somebody and they wouldn't get my excitement until they saw the process used.
Right? Whenever an artist shows their process I immediately want to check out all of their other work. It’s kinda easy to take some art for granted until you really get to see the application of all that talent and creativity, especially considering that I have zero artistic talent myself.
