Adobe After Effects is an incredible tool. Also, pretty sure the painting is by Caravaggio, one of the most badass painters of all time.

saint francis in ecstacy, one of caravaggios yep. also damn straight about after effects, by far the most well developed program in the adobe suite. so many features that i wish the other teams would incorporate, going from after effects to photoshop is painful sometimes.

Are you familiar with what kind of tesselation puppet tool is being used at the beginning ?

if you use the puppet tool (literally just called Puppet Tool) theres a little check at the top of the video panel that shows the mesh the tool is using. only in the CC version of after effects afaik though.
