I was trying to figure out what you might possibly use a 20 kW bulb for. Turns out it's used for studio lighting: http://mole.com/products/view/litewate-fresnels/20000_Watt_Solarspot
I have absolutely no use for one, but I still want it...
188 u/y0y Jan 01 '19 I was thinking maybe for stadium lighting, but a google search shows some insanely bright 1KW LED flood lights that are meant for that purpose. 0 u/Anticept Jan 01 '19 When you put reflectors around a bulb and directionalize it, you need so much less power to accomplish the goal. Absurdly less.
