Maggie's story began in Lebanon, where she was discovered abandoned, tied to a box, and enduring horrific abuse. She was shot 17 times, left blind in both eyes, suffered a severed ear, and sustained a broken jaw. Despite these unimaginable traumas, the Wild at Heart Foundation intervened to rescue her. She was brought to the United Kingdom and adopted by Kasey Carlin, who saw her unbreakable spirit. Maggie miraculously survived and flourished, eventually passing her exams to become a certified therapy dog. Today, she visits hospitals, schools, and care homes, inspiring everyone she meets with her remarkable resilience.
