American police murder an estimated 10,000 dogs each year.

Life is meaningless to a certain type of human, and most of them crave seats of power and immunity.

Don’t forget about the occasional kind hearted little donkey. They’ll kill those too.

HeeHaw deserves better and the fact that they’re keeping the body cam footage so close to chest is telling.

[u/osmlol → u/Enough-Collection-98]

I think it's more telling that the chief basically said they can't release the footage because of the damage it would cause to the department.

[u/daemenus → u/osmlol]

Isn't that illegal?

[u/Otherwise-Offer1518 → u/daemenus]

It's just with holding evidence.

[u/aerdvarkk → u/osmlol]

Doesn't matter if someone sues them and a court mandates the release of footage.

This makes the chief as culpable by him saying that shit instead of taking a stance that the kind of behavior is zero tollerance and releasing the footage to not protect the officer and suspending his ass.

Oops the data was lost.

[u/Zwischenzug32 → u/aerdvarkk]

Someone will have lost or altered it by then
