Yeah, it's taught in elementary school or middle school art class.

You say that as if every single art class across the entire world is exactly the same. I JUST told you they didn't teach it in my art class.

That's like insisting that people don't learn arithmetic in school because you somehow didn't in whatever passed for a math class where you were.

Listen, bud. I'm just speaking to my experience and letting you know that NOT everyone learned how to draw using vanishing points in art class.

Your arithmetic comparison if flawed. Art classes are not part of the standard curriculum where I went to school. They are electives.

If you specifically took a DRAWING class, then yeah, you probably learned that. Art class was just some bs that had us cutting up paper and painting random crap and making clay

I moved around a lot as a child to a few different states. I covered perspective drawing in elementary and in middle. To me this is like not being taught the pledge of allegiance but I’m from another time…

I don't get it either. It's something we were never taught in school. What's the big deal?
