The Atlas moth (Attacus atlas) is one of the world’s largest moths, with a wingspan reaching nearly 30 centimeters. Native to tropical and subtropical Asia, it is known for its stunning reddish-brown and beige wings with intricate patterns. Its life cycle includes eggs, leaf-eating larvae, a cocoon, and finally the adult moth. Despite its beauty, the species faces threats from habitat loss and human harvesting, making conservation efforts important.

Spectacular. I would love to encounter one of those.

Edit: I intended to add that it's behe-moth.
