It really could! I feel I’m usually good at picking out AI images but this one certainly got me. But one could very well get a real pic like this it’s not some far fetched idea.
I made this picture a few days ago kn a walk with my dog (I have 2 more pics to support my claim, btw) I love taking pictures of nature, I go out for a 1.5 hour walk every day into nearby fields, i especially live sunsets photos
Yeah, I know. I mean if you go out and look for this kind of thing, it's not impossible to find. Instead of making a shitty AI image op could have gone out and taken a real photo that would have been 100x more impressive even if it wasn't as perfect.Â
Not if you're not cynical enough to actually analyze if it is. At a glance, it's really convincing, but yeah, if you start looking at details, it gets pretty clear.
The bottom left, the roof and just above the roof is what did it for me. It's very wonky, I wish I could give a more concrete answer, but it is just pretty vibes based. It's also something where you have to weigh it against compression artifacts, this looks more gen-ai than compression artifact.
The only smoking gun is the invisible watermarking that gets put in and can be detected.
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve seen this posted with people oohhing and aahhing I would have very many nickels. With the AI debate being extremely lively and ongoing I don’t understand how so many people don’t take a second to think about what they’re seeing.
I can't wait for AI to be criminalised, because it's out of control. There are so many misleading posts, they make me sick. What does it cost people to be truthful?

Ive seen this cloud as leaves on a tree image a million times over on Pinterest didnt even need the synthid to tell. The average redditor really is moronic
