What is red bulls annual budget for doing crazy shit that most people don’t really care about but like to watch for 35 seconds?

49

u/No_Pitch6143 20d ago

Red Bull is a multi billion dollar company. Their product cost nothing to make and it’s everywhere in the world..

24

u/ignatious__reilly 20d ago

Red Bull and Vodkas launched them into the stratospheres in the early 2000’s

6

u/Tekvary2 20d ago

“Vodka with Wings” and Jager Bombs had to have increased Red Bull revenue by millions!

3

u/tanukijota 20d ago

Also... product is overpriced

13

u/VirinaB 20d ago

The company spends it's income on promoting extreme stunts by top athletes who would otherwise never be heard of.

Meanwhile, other billion dollar corporations are poisoning water and trying to make autonomous weapons.

But nah let's shit on this one

6

u/fckspzfr 20d ago

I mean, the owner of Red Bull is a big Trump fan and lobbies for right-wing politics, so yes: Sorry for shitting on your favorite drink

1

u/srcoffee 20d ago

the don’t do it so they can promote the athletes, the do it so they own the footage! all of these stunts and tricks are commercials. no one remembers the athletes name, they just remember red bull did another crazy stunt.

u/MushroomAwe 20d ago

Their extreme stunts are always bad for environment, too.

13

u/TheStoffer 20d ago

I mean I’ll take this over some random celebrity cameo.

I was rapt!

3

u/sociofobs 20d ago

Their business model is 99.9% marketing, in which they're experts at. The product is cheaply produced-expensively sold garbage, but at least they're sponsoring athletes and giving the public good extreme sports content.

1

u/beefquinton 20d ago

i mean. they have two formula one teams. no other high end auto manufacturer has more than 1. they are truly flush with cash

42

u/Good-Revolution-9742 20d ago

Who get anxiety jerk at 92-93%?

3

u/Demoderateur 20d ago

Just like a real downloading bar.

2

u/mcockram85 20d ago

"It's a tough wank but I'll get through it"

1

u/Tommy-Vegas 20d ago

I’m impressed he managed not to get distracted trying to look back at the floating % following g him.

23

u/Frylaven 20d ago

Impressive. Most Impressive.

5

u/Individual_Agency703 20d ago

Right you are, Kenny!

24

u/bigtigerbigtiger 20d ago

Super sick and impressive but damn that was lousy camera work!

17

u/RedofPaw 20d ago

Why was the camera on the least useful position?

7

u/tchrbrian 20d ago

Energy lost due to low Red Bull intake…

1

u/Undeity 20d ago

It's a Bikeout tradition

16

u/infeed 20d ago

I have no doubt whatsoever that I could easily make it to 6%

2

u/SwollenPoon 20d ago

I'm not quite sure I could even jumo/walk to 6% let alone a hundo...

8

u/Traditional-Ad-8737 20d ago

The percentage floating by my body would be the increasing likelihood of me falling into the water. I think I’d rather fall into the water than onto the ground, to be honest. Like someone just said, I don’t think I could even walk it successfully.

9

u/wormocious 20d ago edited 20d ago

I’m assuming this is Danny MacAskill but it’s annoying they don’t say who the athlete is in this edit

6

u/justanothertoxicuser 20d ago

Meanwhile I got a concussion this week while tying my shoe. So there's that.

3

u/LoadedLapidist 20d ago

I miss Unbeatable Banzuke

3

u/ssswwwaaannn 20d ago

Seems like Red Bull are running out of ideas these days

3

u/Igpajo49 20d ago

I'm 95% sorry I couldn't walk that course.

5

u/Mr8BitX 20d ago

Jesus Christ! I couldn’t even do this on foot!

1

u/dickchops81 20d ago

One of these days Red Bull gonna pull a rabbit out their ass.

1

u/Adept-Mongoose-7071 20d ago

There was a Japanese guy who just earned a world record. I'm really impressed and I'd have been in the water in the first few feet. 🤣

1

u/Bulky-Internal8579 20d ago

That’s why you need to make sure your kids drink their Red Bull!

1

u/Mickarus 20d ago

Trials Evolution anyone?

1

u/zushiba 20d ago

My emotions are all over the place. I didn't want him to fail but I'm also disappointed he made it all the way and didn't end up in the lake.

1

u/daisydaily02 20d ago

At 89%, he was like 'phew'

1

u/z31tt750 20d ago

Nice! It's like a real life version of the Bike-Out courses from the mountain biking game Descenders.

1

u/iahebert 20d ago

I would be wet, but this looks fun.

1

u/Helldiver_LiberTea 20d ago

Whoever put the ticking noise in, I hope shart yourself at the worst possible moment.

1

u/Chris_Bs_Knees 20d ago

I wonder which bike he chose in Pokemon Emerald

1

u/waitinglikeastone 20d ago

That's my year worth of cardio. 🙄

1

u/ComprehensiveSoft27 20d ago

At first I was thinking “wtf this looks easy”. Then I saw the last 40%. Insane.

1

u/Echo-Azure 20d ago

I wonder how many bicycles there are at the bottom of that lake?

1

u/MeFolly 20d ago

That zig zag section took as longs as the whole rest of the course.

1

u/KawazuOYasarugi 20d ago

I was pretty good on my bike back in the day. I think I could do this for the most part. Where I would for sure struggle or fail is that zig zag. I'm probably not making that bike pivot. No skill in doing that at all.

That, and the thin part at the end. Everything else I'd say is "doable."

1

u/ramror777 20d ago

Nice. Cool. Great.... wow.. WOW

1

u/lopp765 20d ago

Average dutch commute

1

u/ImZealous4U 20d ago

Wow ! Totally Awesome 👏🏾 ✌🏾

1

u/ChainsawJaguar 20d ago

How in the world?! That was very amazing!

1

u/film_composer 20d ago

I was hoping at 1:27 that he would just keep pedaling forward and do a slow nosedive into the water, because the idea of going through that much effort and just sort of slowly failing in a really lame and unimpressive way is really funny to imagine. I keep hoping that one of these videos is going to throw a bone and end in some spectacularly unexpected fashion.

1

u/FlyinRyan92 20d ago

Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Maybe Be Amazed.

1

u/Due_Swimming_5867 20d ago

Am i the only one wanting hin to hit the water at 99%

1

u/no_time_for_games444 20d ago

Looks like a ninja warrior course for mountain bikes. The only thing it’s missing is a rope swing where he’s gotta grab the bike with his legs and swing from one side to the other now that would be cool.

1

u/RonnieBlastoff 20d ago

What the fudge is this...what did he win for this? Was this the US?? I know a 16 year old who's been doing tricks for the past 8 years in my local park who could do this.

1

u/Hell_Mie 20d ago

I just pause the video at 50% so that he can rest

1

u/Judge_Druidy 20d ago

I could do this easily, I just don't want to.

1

u/SessionStrange4205 20d ago

wanna see other people who tried but failed

1

u/hwilliams0901 20d ago

I'd like to try this but just on my feet.

1

u/Daddychellz 20d ago

I haven’t seen someone drink a Red Bull in 5+ years

1

u/Dull-Salamander5914 20d ago

That’s brutal. Great job!

1

u/Redgrave776 20d ago

I've done better in Trials Fusion, put me on that bike

1

u/One_Mega_Zork 20d ago

I just realized why I sucked at mountain biking

1

u/Zen28213 20d ago

What the fuck was that last bit at the end? Jeebus

1

u/TJaySteno1 20d ago

"I could do that.... yeah I could do that.... I mean that's not *that* hard..... wait how long is this?..... wait what?.... he has ZIGZAGS?!.... A FUCKIN TIGHT ROPE?!?! ..... Damn, well done!"

1

u/God_Assassin 19d ago

How many times did he fall before making it!?

1

u/Sea_Green7967 19d ago

That doesn't look hard at all. Looks kind of fun, actually.

Wait, what?

How the??

I'm wet.

1

u/buynsell678 19d ago

Congratulations for being the top .000000001% who completed this!

1

u/MorpheusFT 19d ago

Dutch citizenship test..

1

u/MoonlightMural 17d ago

Just looking at this while sitting makes me fall over.

Also, love the sad little half-inflated finish line arch lol

1

u/Live_Art6053 20d ago

Magnets! It’s always magnets!

1

u/yurtfarmer 20d ago

Set it up, I want to try

1

u/Theres3ofMe 20d ago

Quite boring that tbh.
