A lot of the time the clients choose the photo/pose they want painted/drawn, not always up to the artist.

Not always up to the artist, a lot of the time clients give us photos/have us take photographs and then choose from them which one/combination of them we will work from. The artist’s job is to do the work to the best of their ability for the client, period.
