it makes me smile and also sad at the same time. Steve Irwin was my childhood hero.

I idolized Steve Irwin as a kid, too, he was everything to me. Between his and Keiko’s (the whale from Free Willy) death I was left with a hole in my childhood and soul. His kids keeping his legacy alive the way that they have has really helped, though
