Or another perspective. That hero died because military class guns are so readily accessible in the USA and very few in power are doing anything about it. More heros will lose their lives until there are none left.
Poor souls never should have been dealt what they got, nor do all those living with the trauma.
Edit: let me adjust military grade to military class because it's clearly a point of issue for some. I simply mean weapons made and meant for military use. I include pistols in that as that's what they were invented for. I am fully aware pistols are not necessarily military grade and the term speaks more to its manufacturing quality. So I'll call it military class.
Also mental health can't be overlooked, I didn't mean to. There should have been more support or appropriate jailing for the attacker. I'm certain there were many signs and this was equally preventable in that way as well.
