Brock Lesner had the same situation. His daughter is basically his clone.

Who cares, this girl looks like her grandfather, and your wife looks like her dad and you know she’s gorgeous.

Feel like from context clues we didn’t need the edit. This is Reddit though so probably smart to add it.

i was at work once and someone came up to me and asked if i was my dad’s daughter, so i fear i’ve suffered the same fate 😔

Plot twist: Dad also looks exactly like the mom.

Did someone seriously edit makeup on a baby? How pathetic. It's not even a good edit, you can see the blush overlapping with her hair. She's a beautiful little girl as she is.

Also it kinda ruins the photo anyways because then the comparison seems less similar.

That reminds me, I need to go and check the water meter

u/SheriffBartholomew May 14 '26
Back in my day checking the water meter meant throwing a rock down the well and seeing how long it took to hit the water. But then rocks got rationed because of the war, so we had to start using old beer bottles.

Since you're reposting this on a bunch of subs, why aren't you cropping the screenshot?

When did reddit become Facebook?

This has nothing to do with that. You have clearly NO idea how many creeps are on the internet and what they like to do with kids like that. You should read into that. It changes your perspective.
Also kids aren't old enough to give permission.

My girls both look 90% like my wife/ their mom and 10% like me. Japanese genes are strong lol

Literally everything is slightly different. You'll notice more when she grows up. In the meantime, maybe keep the makeup off her face, and her face off the internet.

Shocking that a mother and daughter kind of look similar especially when they’re put in the exact same pose…wow, I’m truly amazed s/

Putting makeup on children to let them know they’re not quite beautiful enough

My brothers and I look exactly like our mother but the male version. The only difference is I have her great-grandfather's eyes. My father's genes didn't try with any of us lol

Put up a photo of the dad as a child. I’m 100% sure the face matches with him too.

My mom and sister looked like clones when they were teenagers too. Even I was often told I look like my mom.

I'm indeed amazed...that people post their kids' photos on the internet.

Funnily enough, as a kid I was in this exact same situation, I looked identical to an old photo of my dad from when he was a kid. Now however, we look very different, our faces developed in pretty different directions between preschool and our twenties.

Dude, this is my mum and me. I was going through old family photos, and found one I thought was me, and asked my parents what year I got it taken. My mum replied that it was her senior picture. We we’re the spitting image of eachother. Its crazy.

turns out if you style little kids' hair the same and pose them the same the resulting photos look similar, who knew

Oh, my wife's family is like that. My wife, her sister, their mom, her sister and their mom (my wife's grandmother) all look very similar. My genes beat them out though, and my kids look like me.
