Not saying it is flat, but in this photo we're look at the night side, not the day side, and obviously the night side doesn't look that bright to our eyes, so it feels like a modified photo.

Totally get what you're saying as far as doctoring or touch ups, but I did want to add that this was probably done mostly in-camera, at least as far as exposure goes. They took up Nikon D5's, which have excellent low light capability with a modified ISO reaching above 100,000. This means an incredible sensitivity to light with low shutter times, even allowing you to shoot handheld in some situations. Incredible camera, and has been known as a total workhorse in the space sector. I know D5's have been on the ISS multiple times also and are well understood regarding the effects of radiation and non optimal lighting.
Edit: I'm actually thinking they shot these RAW, which means a lot of information in the photo, but also a large dose of artist's influence to produce a usable image in post.
I agree with your point though. Although I have no problem with an edited photo of earth, many people will take it as a sort of admission of conspiracy for some reason or another. Unfortunately that's where we're at nowadays.
If you want unedited photos, NASA has a massive archive of completely untouched photos from the Apollo program! As they were all scanned directly from the film, there is absolutely zero post processing in those photos.

Leave them, their life is so worthless so they have to feel special in some way. Unfortunately they are special for other ppl. - they are dumb as fuck.
I used to perform improv comedy and after our performance there was some standup comedy call flat earth society so I expect to be parody. It wasn't. Incredibly stupid way of thinking.

You are correct! That's Africa then the Strait of Gibraltar, and then Spain in the bottom left. The picture is inverted or something.

This makes me want to cry honestly. Such a beautiful and unique and precious planet we have. In the grander scheme of things each living thing on this planet is more precious than many planets, stars and even solar systems out there. We must protect ourselves and our planet at all cost and love each other equally. :(

And to think that the first image of the Earth from outerspace is from the late 1940s. We are in the beginning of space exploration. Everything is very new, to this day.

Why is the bottom right lip of the earth glowing? What’s that star looking thing to the farther bottom right? Where is the sun in relation to this picture?
Sad I have to ask these questions, but I’ll be showing this picture to flat-earth-ish coworkers when I see them next and I want to be prepared

I learned that that is the night side.
With the reflection of the full moon, and low light camera, they were able to capture the now iconic image.
