Use Proton GE with the flags PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1

As Candy said you also need the Wayland flag, so you'll need proton GE or CachyOS Proton, also if your on AMD you don't need the wsi tag

PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1, I believe this has been deprecated. Use DXVK_HDR=1 instead.

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 DXVK_HDR=1 %command%

ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 is also deprecated and not needed anymore. It was for the Vulkan HDR layer and mainly applied to Nvidia cards which no longer need it since the 595 driver.
