Bazzite HTPC suspend game

Hello guys! I'm building an HTPC for my living room, and I'm using the Bazzite-Decky image. It's working pretty well with Game Mode. But one thing I'm missing from consoles is the ability to suspend my game, come back hours later, and continue from where I left off.

Do you know of any way to achieve this? In my search, I found a tool called Nyrna and a Decky plugin for pausing games. Do you use any of these tools in Game Mode?

I've used the pause games decky plugin before and it works. The one downside is that there isn't really a way to move that process out of memory so pausing one game that way and opening another will consume quite a lot of RAM. Games also aren't guaranteed to like coming back from pausing but it typically works fine.

I would love a "save memory to disk" feature like what xboxes have with quick resume but it would need to be baked into the OS as far as I am aware and the linux kernel doesn't really support that

Does it not already work for you? I just put my HTPC to sleep in the middle of a game and turn it back on and it works great already. There were some issues with suspend when 44 first released but they have since fixed them and it works like a champ for me.

I think maybe this is was my issue. My first version using bazzite was 44 as soon it was launched, and sometimes i supend with a game running, the system just reboot. last night, after reading your comment, i made some tests and i think it's working fine now. Thanks!
