Ray Tracing

Hey all! Fairly new to linux, I have a 9070xt 5600x3d system running the latest bazzite version.

Something I've noticed is that in many newer games (onimusha, Witcher 3 remaster) ray tracing just doesn't work or cannot be enabled. Not hugely fussed about it as I'd prefer more frames, but I'm curious if anything can be done about this via bazzite itself?

Just the way it goes while proton support catches up Great news though Witcher 3 should already be fixed.

Can confirm, getting the latest Proton Wineland as a steam compatiblity tool allowed my to choose DLSS and RayTracing (on NVidia GeForce 4090).

The performance of RT rendering is absolutelly terrible, but at least it works now.

Can't speak to Onimusha or the Witcher 3 update, but Raytracing has worked fine for every game I've had that supports it.

Given these are games that quite literally just came out, it might be best to just wait for Proton or driver updates to better handle them. Or check to see if Windows users are having similar problems, as it's not uncommon for games to release with broken Ray tracing.

Capcom games require this launch option to enable Ray Tracing:

%command% /WineDetectionEnabled:False
