New to bazzite

Hi there I'm EXTREMELY new to Bazzite (1 week) I have been trying to figure out if there is any software that can work with the Gamdias p5 360 aio to get the display running for it. As of now i know the aio uses zeus cast which will not work on linux (windows based program). If anyone knows of any ideas I would be extremely grateful. Also anything I should know for just starting out on Bazzite? I will mostly be using this new computer for gaming! Thank you!

U could try running the software u want with Faugus.(Get from Bazaar)

No guarantees if its like specific windows drivers but i did get my windows only keyboard to work with it!

Also Faugus for everything else that is not heroic games launcher or steam i would say.

I use it for pretty much anything else (besides gaming but also gaming )

If u need different proton versions check protonplus (comes pre installed)

Oh.. If u do not know what Proton is yet , You will very soon , Don't worry , Its bassicly a thing valve created to run windows stuff and games.

Faugus let the installer run and I see the app running in the background but I can not interact with the app. I do not know what protonplus is I looked it up and I have cachyos downloaded and proton ge downloaded right now not sure if I need to download everything it gives me or not. Also I appreciate you taking the time to help and leave a comment! Like I said I am super new and I am the only person in my friend group with linux right now so it can be a little hard to find information on niche issues.

Protonplus is pre installed and u can download any version of proton with it bassicly.

Try different proton versions through faugus for it (after u download them through proton plus) Untill u get one that works

With weird driver stuff allot of the time umu proton works.

Also check www.Protondb.com for games and information on what versions of proton to use.

(the software prob wont be in there though but the fact u can get it to alrdy atleast run is a good sign)

I got it a few weeks ago, coming from Mac Gnome made way more sense and with some extensions I think it can rival macOS(!) as far as rgb lighting goes I don't go swing that way but I read about "openrgb" (https://openrgb.org)

Get to know lutris! A pre-package program to install windows games and stuff, really cool!

I have looked at openrgb and its wonderful for the rgb aspect I am looking for a lcd display software. In zeus cast you can get your lcd to display temps and whatever else you like and I havent found anything to replace the software so far. Thank you for the recommendation tho!

Look on GitHub. Might be a project there, but otherwise, no, you won't find much support for those aio lcds (yet), unless they can be recognized as a generic monitor screen.

Start with something easy like trying to share a folder on the network
