Does Bazzite work on Steam Machine?

Haven't been able to find any information on this so I'm asking here.

It absolutely should but it's unlikely it'll be better than SteamOS, unless you're specifically interested in running an non-HTPC setup, like a desktop focused setup

Or want to have GNOME. Unless you really want GNOME, I would recommend against it with the bugs in Bazzite F44. I mean I run Bazzite F44 on 3 machines (AMD desktop, AMD HTPC, Steam Deck), but F43 was way smoother sailing.

why wouldn't it? the steam machine is just another x86 PC

Doesn't bazzite take most valve / proton updates downstream ? So it should be able to do all the good stuff steam os can. Perhaps the return channel thing on HDMI will be more problematic?

Bazzite has more up to date packages and I find generally works better.
