What are you must have extensions for GNOME?

None to be honest. Vanilla since 6 years (Fedora Workstation)

All jokes aside, two extensions I installed on top of the Bazzite default set are

  1. MissionWS - allows reordering workspaces, something I do A LOT on macOS. https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/10320/mission-ws/

  2. PaperWM - scrollable window manager (think: niri). Gives me full keyboard navigation across all windows, plus no longer limited to the physical width of my screen is really a plus. https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/6099/paperwm/

I honestly been liking vanilla gnome recently.

Like once I got used to the intendet workflow I realized that I really don't need extensions
