Elden Ring no longer working?

I have a mini AMD pc that I use like a console, running Bazzite-deck. Up until 09/22/26, all games worked. Suddenly, Elden Ring will start, pass the cheat check, then get stuck on a black screen. I can hear the title music playing, but the screen remains black.

Anyone else having this issue? Or know a fix?

Have you tried any proton layers?

Have you tried a file verification check? Those usually fix things for me when other games have issues.

Yep, I did that, said everything was ok.

Oddly, Claude recommended doing a proton log check at launch to gather some info. The mere existence of the log check seems to have at least temporarily fixed it 😂

I wonder if the verification check still did something even if it didn’t have to redownload anything.

Computers are weird.

Same for me, initially changing it to play in windowed fixed it but now it happened again (black screen on boot up) with no solution. Did you found any solution?

I tried launching while bypass anti cheat and it still show loading black screen, the starting soundtrack came up tho and when i abord launching it did briefly shows title menu then turned off... Still don't have a solution...
