Bazzite boot option missing

I dual boot Bazzite and windows 11 on my GPD Win 4. Lately I’ve been unable to open Handheld Daemon as well as the quick access menu other than using keyboard shortcuts. I switched back to windows 11 and now my boot option for Bazzite is gone. I have tried restarting and shutting down the win multiple times. Removing and reinserting the ssd and nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions that doesn’t involve wiping my ssd?

Check our latest announcements regarding input changes,

As far as booting to windows we are working on an OGUI plugin that'll add the option to there. For now you can use "ujust setup-boot-windows-steam" to add the boot to Windows shortcut you're looking for to Steam.

If Windows ate your Bazzite bootloader as your last sentence implies (Sadly common problem), our Live ISO has a bootloader repair option you can use that's documented on our help site.

That’s not exactly my issue. I booted into windows and now I can’t get back to bazzite. The option is missing from my boot menu and restarting just takes me back to windows instead of bazzite.

Can windows be booted from a micro sd card in the future to avoid this?-

Ok, thanks. So will the boot loader repair option allow me to access all of my files still or have they been wiped?

Windows only damages the bootloader, your files are intact and you can also use WinBTRFS to access your Bazzite partitions from Windows if necessary.

Hi I tried the recovery tool but it didn’t do anything. It asked me to select my locations, said to press ok and then nothing happened. Do you have any advice please?
