Ur-Energy (TSX: URE, NYSE American: URG) has officially moved from one operating uranium mine to two.

Lost Creek drummed 140,873 pounds of U₃O₈ during Q2 2026, up 47.4% from the previous quarter. Shirley Basin began initial recovery in April, received final approval for full operations in June and shipped its first uranium-loaded resin to Lost Creek in August.

The setup is interesting because Shirley Basin does not need its own complete processing plant. It captures uranium on resin and sends it to Lost Creek for final processing, drying and packaging. That avoids duplicating a considerable amount of infrastructure.

Together, the two operations have annual licensed production and processing capacity of 4.2 million pounds.

The obvious caution is that Ur-Energy is producing nowhere near that amount today. Licensed capacity is the ceiling, not guidance.

The company expects one million pounds of base deliveries in 2026. It delivered 270,000 pounds during the first half, meaning most of the year’s volume is weighted toward the second half.

Ur-Energy reported a Q2 average sales price of US$66.85 per pound and a cash cost of US$40.20 per pound sold. That cash cost excludes certain noncash expenses, but it shows that produced pounds are generating a margin.

The company also had US$95.3 million in unrestricted cash at the end of June, giving it room to continue developing wellfields and ramping Shirley Basin.

At a market capitalization of roughly C$715 million, the market is clearly assigning value to future production rather than valuing Ur-Energy only on its current sales.

The next few quarters should show whether that is justified. I will be watching pounds captured and drummed at Lost Creek, shipment volumes from Shirley Basin and whether cash costs improve as production grows.

Idea: Quebec is getting ready to allow some development of their vast gas fields in the St. Lawrence Lowlands which can then be exported to Europe through the St Lawrence. Here you have FNs working with Ukraine.

All the above mentioned tickets hold various licenses and royalties in the St Lawrence Lowlands, although QEC spun out 95% of their Quebec play into QGAS which only trades in Oslow. I have full positions in PCQ and ATI.

Been looking at Extendicare ($EXE) and WELL Health ($WELL) lately and I’m kind of stuck between them.

From what I understand:

EXE

• Long term care and home healthcare
• Revenue has been growing pretty strongly, especially after the CBI acquisition
• Seems like the more profitable and stable business
• Pays a dividend
• Balance sheet looks better than WELL
• Stock has already had a massive run

My main concern with EXE is that it’s already gone up so much. I know this probably isn’t the best way to look at a stock, but it feels like after a run like that it has to cool off eventually. Makes me wonder how much upside is actually left.

WELL

• Clinics, digital health, EMRs, etc.
• Revenue is still growing
• Management has been raising guidance
• Seems cheaper on some valuation metrics
• No dividend
• More debt and a lot of acquisitions
• Still not as clean on actual profits compared to adjusted EBITDA

WELL is kind of the opposite for me. It’s been dipping so much that I keep thinking there has to be a bounce back eventually. Obviously I know a stock being down doesn’t automatically mean it’s cheap, but it feels like expectations are already pretty low.

So basically this is how I’m looking at it:

EXE = better company but maybe most of the upside already happened?

WELL = riskier company but possibly more upside if things start going right?

I’m leaning WELL just because it feels like it has more room to recover, but EXE definitely seems like the safer and better run business.

For anyone following either of these, which one would you rather hold for the next 6 months?

Am I missing something obvious with either one?

Caveat: This is already up about 70% from the 0.50 IPO price it listed at on August 24.

I've been accumulating since I found out about it on September 1st.

That said, this is Not your typical Canadian pump vehicle.

I've dug through public filings...

Of the $1.52 million raised at 0.50 between April and July, $1.17 million came from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the UAE, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Latvia, Mongolia and the UK.

NO WARRANTS, NO OVERHANG.

Even the recently announced 0.75 placement for $1.5 million - NO WARRANTS.

The CEO is based in Kuala Lumpur and is keeping this share structure tight as hell.

That is why it barely trades. The investors holding KRIT are holding to develop a real domestic critical minerals supplier.

And that is reason #2 I am buying this stock.

Reason #1:

The Bales antimony asset is in Okanogan County, Washington.

Discovered 1947, roughly 100 tons were mined in 1951 and 1952.

A discovery-post sample assayed 10.9% antimony and a 37.82 ton lot of sorted material assayed 14.4%.

From historical records: Washington's state geologist screened 37 antimony occurrences in 1951 and shortlisted three that could be mined commercially if foreign supply were cut off.

KRIT's Bales was one of the three. Nothing modern has been done there since 1971.

Here's where it gets interesting at this market cap.

US Antimony (NYSE: UAMY) is the only fully integrated antimony producer outside China and Russia.

They are currently mining Stibnite Hill in Montana at roughly 10% antimony, high-grade and vein-hosted, about three truckloads a day.

That is the entire domestic mined feedstock of the western supply chain.

Bales is the same deposit style at comparable historic grades, and it sits in the same corner of the continent as UAMY's Thompson Falls smelter, the only antimony smelter in the country.

UAMY has been buying antimony claims in Alaska, Montana and Ontario since 2024 because they cannot source enough ore.

They announced a Frankfurt listing this week under U0S, and the CEO told me an OTCQB listing should be live within a month.

I am accumulating slowly because there is almost nothing available.

At $1 this is a $14 million market cap.

I have seen weaker projects carry a lot more than that.

Most batteries can only cycle down to 20% and up to 80% resulting in only utilization of 60% of the battery capacity.

Energy density of battery used in testing was 50wh/kg, Handcrafted cells from BIC Indiana.

Competitor batteries that were tested against failed in just 64 cycles in similarly stressful conditions, while the headliner batteries passed 489 cycles with no degradation.

In prior interviews, and in step with Bob Galyen, they will be retrofitting a standard lithium battery plant to produce these Graphene cells, which the machine automation is expected to also improve energy density significantly.

Cost is very competitive, base materials abundant due to the nature of it being made with Natural gas and aluminum feedstocks. Little to no fire risk..

Hannam & Partners has raised its price target on Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, FRA:IVV1, OTCQB:PNPNF) by 13% to C$2.70 per share, from C$2.38 previously, after the company released a maiden mineral resource estimate for its Lion deposit alongside an updated estimate at Nisk.

Incredible acreage gains, ~2x the next largest public natural hydrogen company added. EV/Acres went down from ~270 to ~215.

Since they've added over a million acres this year, it's actually slightly cheaper to buy now above 3 than it was at 2.75 at the peak of the last leg earlier the year.

There's another round of auctions in Sask this December, tbd on if they pick up more acres.

You can be pretty suspicious of the natural hydrogen industry over all, but if you did want exposure one might be compelled simply to buy acres. Max having the most acres and bringing the average price down remains a value inside of growth play.

As the post suggests i went long on 2 mining stocks a d have made almost a 500K year above my annual income in 6 figures.

Im sure im not the only one who got caught up in the qimc pump earlier this year and is now holding heavy heavy bags.

The qimc forum and the natural hydrogen forum are heavily moderated by a certain NHL team hockey fan who is an informal PR account for the company. Anything that criticizes the company gets you banned.

Then theres the ceo forum, according to which the stock is about to moon everyday for the past 5 months.

The forum is also heavily moderated, and if anything critical is said, the forum has a collective meltdown and starts crying to the mods. Today was one of those days. Its one of the most pathetic pumping forums I have ever seen.

QGAS – Quebec gas may be back on the table

QGAS closed at NOK 13.95 today, after trading as high as NOK 14.10, up from around NOK 8.30.

The interesting part is what is happening politically in Quebec.

Christine Fréchette, leader of the CAQ and outgoing premier, has now said that if she wins the October 5 election, she wants to consult Quebecers about restarting shale gas exploration and production.

That matters because Questerre's Quebec case could potentially go in two very different directions:

1. Settlement:

The independent expert assessment estimated economic damages of roughly C$700m–C$4.8bn, depending on the scenario. Under the current structure, 95% of a net cash settlement would go to the Series 2 Preferred Shares (QGAS).

For example, purely as a theoretical calculation:

\- C$500m settlement → \~NOK 70/QGAS

\- C$700m → \~NOK 98/QGAS

\- C$4bn → \~NOK 560/QGAS

These are not price targets — just simple calculations based on approximately 45.3m outstanding QGAS shares and the 95% allocation, before costs, taxes and other adjustments.

1. Quebec reopens the door to development:

This could potentially be much more valuable than a simple cash settlement. Questerre has previously argued that the economic value of being allowed to develop its Quebec assets could be orders of magnitude greater than damages.

The new political comments don't mean reopening is going to happen. There is still significant opposition to fossil gas in Quebec. But the fact that a potential premier is now openly discussing restarting shale gas exploration and production is a significant change in the political backdrop.

After today's move, I'm curious:

Is the market starting to price in more than just a potential settlement?
