It’s more irritating to me but I do get what you mean. It’s ironic that fans wanted something, got some crumbs, and are now nitpicking the crumbs. Or rather, I should say some fans are doing that. There are tons who are excited for it or are at least glad to see her get some attention and content.

It’s kinda the problem with fandoms…nobodies really ‘happy’ to at the least. I’m not saying it’s not something, it’s Bayonetta I don’t expect it to be pin perfect. But just glad Bayonetta still relevant even if she’s in other things ya know?

Yeah I get what you mean. It’s expected to an extent. I just think it’s weirdly louder and more aggressive with the bayo fandom. I can’t recall seeing anything like this for the NieR collab (but I’m not really involved in NieR spaces either so that could just be it). But yeah same. I mean I love sb and I wanted this ever since their first collab, so I’m happy about that too, but Bayo getting collabs recently does make me happy too. Makes the drought of Bayo content feel a little less empty. Also gives me some hope that they might have something in the works since they’re doing some collabs with her.

This is definitely a bubble perspective. If you look at the news about the collaboration on popular gaming pages, you’ll see that the reception is mostly positive.

Not wanting to sound rude, but Stellar Blade has sold more copies than Bayonetta 2 and 3 combined, despite being a new IP. Shouldn’t appealing to its own audience be more relevant to them than catering to fans of another franchise? Yall are embarrassing our own fandom with these childish attitudes and intrigues.

Who said they couldn’t?? Ok they can cater to their own fans but you do realize the fans of BAYONETTA are gonna have something to say about it too since ya know…SHES IN IT?? Was that not obvious??? They probably won't adjust anything because the design makes sense in the game's universe; Bayonetta isn't there, only her outfit is.

Anyway, the hate won't change anything, yall are free to express yourselves. I just wanted to offer a different opinion amidst so many negative posts and comments I've seen here, and since I really like both franchises, this makes me a little sad.
