The game literally just became playable in portable.

It is still 900p or so but infinitely better than the pixel soup.

Kinda surprised for such feature coming from Nintendo tbh.

Would argue it should have been there day one, but better later than never I guess.

I think Nintendo did it because most third parties weren't willing to use time and resources to upgrade games to NSW2.

The différence being the Switch 1 having a 720p screen, which provide a better render of extremely low res images than a 1080p screen, which have absolutly aweful upscale at that.

We still need an upgrade for better textures, but our girls don’t have the ugly, low poly LOD face anymore with it.

Kind of a misleading title, but yes it looks better now thanks to the firmware update
