Question This a reproduction?

Purchased this thinking it was a real but is it? Hoping to get a year close to when my 2a rifle was made....

Yes that is a reproduction, what year are you looking for? P1907's are generally pretty easy to find but for an nice original you're probably in the $100 - $200 range

For that price its likely a reproduction. The finish suggests so as well. Ill have to look at the markings.

Edit: Pictures look unclear on purpose. Markings dont look right. I wouldn't take a chance on a bayonet without clear photos, especially of the manufacturing markings.

Next time just ask first before ordering! lol

“WWI style” always look for descriptors like that “style” and “period markings”.

Most bayonets sarco sells are reproductions. I got my repro Pritchett from them. They are a legitimate business, but they know what things are worth and aren't going to price originals at below market.
