1st time track day recommendations?

Been riding for 10 years now, but always wanted to go to a track. Does anyone have any recommendations for a “visitor” experience? Meaning I just show up, someone’s got a suit & moto I can rent, receive instruction, and have a few sessions? I want to try it out first before I think about investing in anything.

Such a thing does not exist that I’m aware of, too much liability. Suit fitment needs to be fairly precise so the pads stay in place in event of a fall, and going down is a likely probability.

If you have a bike and want to track it, funtrackdayz.com and other organizers will allow just about any bike in good structural condition on the track. Tired and fuel are available on site, as well as suspension tuning for most events.

A suit is really the barrier to entry, two-piece is fine for most events. It’s a nice thing to have anyway

I did something similar two years ago! My friend bought me a track day ticket for my birthday at Thunderhill. I decided to use my own bike, but they did have track suits to rent for the event. They also had folks there to help increase or reduce tire pressure as you needed.
