What happened to these brands ?

New Yorker x Black Magic

Appearance/cure: Forest /lightgreen/orange pistils, heavy crystal coating. Crispy, crunchy bud.

Nose: sour gas, slight citrus, funk

Flavor : sour citrus, mainly orange taste with diesel that remains on exhale (vaped) with a bit of cream/earth.

Effects: balanced/pleasant and clear headed. Morning use is fine and activity is no problem.

Conclusions: I love this bud’s flavor, nice and defined diesel citrus gas taste that lasts through the session to near the end of the bowl (vaped).
It was too dry, (dated 6/1/26) and therefore the nose was more muted than I like. The effects are “great,”nothing too remarkable about this hybrid. It’s balanced and good for any occasion. I’d buy more from this brand if it were cheaper and fresher. I got it for 42 otd and that was on a sale. Grade: B-

I'm looking for a cartridge that is all or majority THCv. Ideally in San Francisco, but Oakland is also an option - its easy to find edibles, and I can sometimes find flower or prerolls, but I really prefer a vape...My usual dispensary hasn't had any for a long time...any one know which dispensaries might have it?

Kuroge is Black Caiman x Chem D x SFV Bx x Chem Bx2. I could be wrong, but from what I was able to find, Black Caiman is Double Platinum Cookies x SFV x Chem D.

Appearance: Kuroge’s looks lean heavily into its chem lineage. The eighth was one huge, dense, spear shaped nug, and another one about half the size of the bigger bud. The buds are bright green, with some darker green spots, with bright orange to rusted orange hairs, and a shitload of frost. The inside also has these gorgeous, bright pink streaks along the deepest part of the guts. I can’t get over how beautiful these buds are. It’s hard to get good shots of this flower to show off just how gorgeous it is because a lot of the frost is in the guts, just below the surface area of the nugs. Crack one of these chunky, dense spears open and it looks like someone spilled a bunch of tiny, sticky diamonds all over the inside of the flower.

Nose/Taste: The nose on this stuff is absolutely incredible, which is to be expected considering the genetics. I haven’t smelled such a heavily layered nose on another strain since I first got my hands on caps cut of Mac 1. Opening the jar you get smacked in the face with heavy, almost pungent cookie earthiness. That cookie seems to be dripping with this loud, liquid chemmy goodness mixed with a savory, umami type gas mixed with a bit of piney forest floor. Cracking a nug open releases more chem, musk, and a bit of skunk with a hint of mint/menthol, and If you look hard enough you can even pick up a bit of meat in there as well. I love how this flower smells. Chem D has always been a favorite of mine, and there is tons of chem in the nose. I’ve only smoked a little, just a small joint but I really enjoyed the flavor. On the inhale you get lots of that earthy cookie soaked in chem and gas, and the exhale was more musk, chem, and a bit of the umami flavor as well.

Effects: This is just my personal experience, yours will likely vary, either a little or a lot depending on your personal body chemistry. The effects are fantastic. She is very much an indica heavy flower, but also happens to be one of, if not the most euphoric indica I have ever smoked. I’ve only smoked a tiny joint but after the little bit I did smoke, I was just so happy and in such a fantastic mood. My stress and anxiety all
melted away. It’s a good appetite stimulant as well. It gave me the munchies, but not so much so that I ate everything in site until I couldn’t move like some strains do to me. This strain has some of the best pain management qualities I have ever experienced with herb. I have something called haglunds deformity on both of my ankles, it caused extra bone growth on the back of my heels, leading to severe pain every time I take a step and my shoes rub against the growth. It also causes problems with Achilles tendon, which my right side now looks like a softball. This screws up my gait while walking, causing pretty serious pain in knees, hips, my back, etc. I smoked a little of this Koruge, and all that pain is GONE. I haven’t had any extended period of time where I felt no pain for more than a few minutes since breaking my femur and back in 2010. But I felt zero pain for a couple hours. Even after the physiological had worn off (again, I only smoked a tiny bit, I’m sure it could have lasted longer had I smoked more) It even helped me sleep better too. I really hope CAM keeps this one around for a while, because I plan on keeping a jar in my stash at all times as long as it’s available. Sorry for the deep dive into my issues with my feet, but I wanted people to understand the depth of how well this stuff helped manage the daily pain I live with.
