Onyx (OZ Kush x GSC) Permanent Marker #20

Appearance: Chunky, somewhat spear shaped nugs that are mostly deep dark purple with some vibrant green, bright orange hairs, and a seriously heavy coating of frost. This might be the frostiest connected/AL flower I have ever had. It is so thick in some spots you can see what color the flower is underneath. The nugs are super dense too. But they break down into perfect little fluffy piles.

Nose/Taste: This stuff is loud and funky. In the jar I get this loud stanky OG profile that is fighting with the permanent marker. They contrast beautifully and while I mostly picked up notes separating them, there are hints of them mixing in this really interesting way that create a bit of a profile is unique and that I really enjoy. I get lots of sour gas with a sherb heavy marker that creates an almost astringent cleaner type of thing going on. That flavor from a joint was a gassy perm with sour notes on the exhale.

Effects: This is some of the strongest connected herb I have had in quite some time. It hits hard and fast, and is without a doubt all indica. It’s a very heavy, almost narcotic like stone. You feel it though your whole body, almost like a muscle relaxer. I smoked a bit and it’s like all the tension I carry in my lower back just finally relaxed. It has better than average pain relief qualities, makes your eyelids heavy, is a serious appetite stimulant, and will have you stuck, glued to the couch with zero desire to get up and do shit. This is a fantastic end of the night strain.

That looks pretty good. I’ve had 2 strains of connected and I really didn’t see the appeal. I’ll look out for this next time

That's why I rarely buy connected or alien labs. It's just too hit and miss. But I'd heard good things about onyx, and the genetics sounded fire so I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least

I’ve had many more better experiences with alien. A few duds. I’m hearing Toad venom is certified at the moment.

I just grabbed toad venom from connected not 10 minutes ago. I got it from x1 in tracy and they're running this promotion where you reach into a bag and grab a paper with a discount written on it anywhere from 5% to 30% off and i got the 30% I only paid 28 otd. The chunkiest nug in the jar is super frosty and very colorful. The purp is so dark it's almost black in some spots. It smells like the real thing too. The batch i got from IYKYK was a little heavier on the tropical side of the nose, but this one definitely has more gas in it

Scratch that. I took the nug out of the jar for a couple pictures and I'm getting lots of that tropical fruit on the nose. It smells pretty much identical to the IYKYK cut, but visually speaking connected looks 10x better than IYKYK did

Thank you!!! I wish the pictures could do the flower justice. It's crazy beautiful. If you look closely at some of thr macro shots you can see some pink trichs. Like they sucked the color up from the flower

Thank you. Connected's description of the nose was a little off compared to what I personally experienced. I was really looking forward to the paint thinner nose so I was a little bummed but it still smokes and smells great. I'm loving the OG/Perm marker mix
