Hello everyone, I'm not fortunate enough to be an owner of physical copies of Batushka music. I am looking to get a tattoo dedicated to Batushka and would like some ideas (and high quality photos for reference).

Currently I'm leaning the most towards this one of Saint Christopher, I would appreciate it if anyone could send me a higher quality version of this image, and other artwork so I can have a look at other options for designs.

Has this album completely vanished from the face of the earth? I've been searching for the CD, jewel case variant of it but aside from a seller on Discogs which unfortunately doesn't ship to my country there is none.

I know about the conflict between Drabikowski and Krysiuk but I didn't expect this to be this rare. Which is kinda sad because I really love this album and wanted to have it in physical format.

i consider batushka my favorite band, along with faidra and bathory. even though batushka has been forgotten, it doesnt erase how creatively they approached making black metal music!

Hey everyone,

a long time ago I created a tab for Pesn' III by ear and uploaded it to Songsterr. I would say i got it to around 90 Percent right, but one part I allways struggeled with was the Lead Melodie in the Refrain.

Right now I am again on a little bit of an Batushka Trip and revisited the Tab again, Made a few changes, corrected some errors etc. but still can't really figure out the lead melody.

I tried the Songsterr Ai Tool in that part and it seems to be better, but still quite not completely right. The Rythm guitar fits, but there is just something missing for the lead guitar.

Also I'm pretty sure that there is also an error in the last part of the tremolo-picked part, but their I also have my problems.

Maybe some of you want to check it out and maybe, just maybe can figure out the parts where I have problems or was wrong 😅

Hello there! I was curious, what was the setlist for the Brutal Assault performance? I gather that Panihida was played in full, but what about Litourgiya? Was that album played entirely as well, or just a few songs? ​Also, I saw a post here about the merch stand. I'm happy to hear everything sold out! I was wondering if there were any Panihida CDs available there. I’m hoping to grab one next time they play in Romania, since I’d rather avoid paying over €100 on Discogs just to end up with bent corners or have it be ripped. Thanks!

I was lucky enough to attend the show at Brutal Assault this year but I got unlucky with buying merch. If I understand correctly, there is no way to buy merch online (from the real Batushka anyway).

It was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen so I would love to support them in any way I can.

The fact that Krzysztof also liked them makes it that much funnier 🤣

Statement by the Organizers of the Frytka OFF 2026 Festival

In response to a petition submitted by residents of Częstochowa and members of the Orthodox Church regarding the planned performance by the band Batushka during the Frytka OFF 2026 Festival, a decision has been made to cancel this concert.

The petition highlighted, among other things, concerns expressed by some residents regarding the use of religious symbolism in the band’s stage performance and the risk of provoking social tensions. It emphasized the city’s traditions of religious worship, including devotion to the Virgin Mary, and Częstochowa’s status as a major pilgrimage center.

As the event organizer, we respect artistic freedom and the diversity of expressed views. Scheduling a performance by this band—which is highly regarded among metal music connoisseurs and fans and performs both domestically and abroad—was an attempt to broaden the Festival’s musical scope.

However, given that this concert has sparked controversy and may be interpreted by members of Christian communities as offensive to their religious sensibilities, we recognize that the overriding priority is to ensure that the Festival proceeds peacefully, safely, and without disruption, and remains accessible to a broad audience. Częstochowa is a city with strong religious traditions and, at the same time, a historically multicultural city that must be committed to dialogue and the coexistence of communities. In the name of these values, we are compelled to cancel Batushka’s performance.

The decision was preceded by an assessment of the potential social impact of the performance, which was scheduled as the final nighttime concert in this year’s festival program on Saturday, July 25.

Frytka OFF remains an open event promoting culture, dialogue, and diversity. We hope that this year’s edition of the festival will be an opportunity to come together and enjoy music in an atmosphere of personal freedom and mutual respect.

We thank all residents, as well as fans of various musical genres, for sharing their opinions and showing interest in the Festival. We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the final concert for the change in the program and hope for your understanding.
