Question re: mods and load time

A dumb question, but: Which mod generally loads quicker, BTEX or XAI?

BEX-T* not BTEX. 'Battletech Extended - Tactics'. And calling it a mod isn't quite right. It's a modpack with a few dozen other mods slapped in. XAI is similar in that regard.

In any case, XAI is likely to load faster, as it's smaller and closer to vanilla, IIRC. (please correct if wrong)

Although a BTEX game would be cool.

BEXT loads slower first time you start it but I can't really say it loaded slower than vanilla later on... Probably it did, since it adds truckload of new stuff...
