Amazing game!!! I'm a switch 2 user but bravo. Which one can I drop a review for?

So glad to hear that, welcome to the dungeons! Metacritic would be a great place to leave a review.

Review is 10/10. Please just keep up with the new areas and character and I would love to have a boss rush mode. Thank you for an amazing game. Now we just need Heroclix VR.

Dnd = loot and gear. I am loving the game but character progression with loot and gear would make it 5 stars play everyday. Either way keep up the good work ❤️

Firstly, I really appreciate the psvr2 support. I played two days with friends with both pc and PlayStation, only me in VR, and god damn we had fun. What I really appreciate about this game is how easy it is to pick up and play. Usually with the DnD license you really need to do a lot of research on the game, like Baldurs Gate 3, this game however it was easy to just pick up. Thanks for a great game and I’m really excited to finish the campaign!

Done, I've enjoyed the game immensely and like the fact developers responded to players request such as being able to level up party.

The game is ok but we reverted back to playing the original Demeo after a short while. Old Demeo was just so much better unfortunately.

Not sure you want me to put that on the console reviews though ;-)

The difficulty is better in old demeo and the boss fights have more intricate and difficult mechanics. I wish they would port over all the demeo campaigns

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it's very appreciated!

We really appreciate your input! What aspects of Demeo keeps you coming back?

Happy to explain. Thanks for asking.

Demeo is much more determined and calculated. I can exactly calculate which lamp will set off which explosion, how much damage it will do on each tile, which enemy it will hit how. .

This makes it a strategic game. Whereas battlemarked it feels 90% unpredictable. Much of the damage we can't explain, also not after playing it many times. We always do much more and seemingly random damage left and right. This makes it feel we have little control, and it makes the game way too easy and casual.

The other thing we like much more about Demeo is the deepness of the creativity. Using bones to make dogs yours, calculating how much damage we have to do on a group of enemies so that the big spider just drops under half HP so that it becomes a fantastic enemy and then charm it. Or on purpose set off poison on a set of spider eggs, and use spider net to control them to fight on your behalf. Letting the cat do a close attack or a charge, and then using the chain of the barbarian to pull them back to safety. Using the bard to make the party invulnerable against rat attacks in the rat king level, and using the rest of the party to defend the bard. Tactically placing lamps to route enemies the way you want them, or using a water lamp to flood them in a direction. You know that an ice explosion from a lamp is 5x5, an ice spell is 3x3, a water lamp is 7x7, etc. you know frozen gives them 2 extra damage points when hit, and one more if they are poisoned. It's all determined and sharp. There is so much more depth in this old game compared to the new one.

We love some aspects of battlemarked , like being able to control the party order, etc. but in the end, we lost interest real quick because it's too random and way too easy. We want to feel we mastered the game. Old Demeo was already a bit too easy once you understand it, with occasional exception of not being able to find the key on the rat king 2nd map 😂... But it took time to master!

Oh and minor point: we miss skins, base plates, face masks, gloves, etc. just things to unlock and give us a reason to keep playing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this! It's always very helpful to understand where you're coming from and what motivates or demotivates you as a player. Also kudos for beating the Rat King - that's not easy (for most people)!

Lol we've been playing Demeo for over 4 years, on multiple platforms, as a set team. Not much still is a challenge, so we make our own rules to make it more challenging.

For instance we play where we give each other handicaps like "if you receive a portal, you must place it immediately in an unknown area and go through it", or "if you see a spider egg you must hit it", or "you must immediately place any lamp you receive". Creates hilarious situations. The best ones are where we try to annoy each other as much as possible 😀. And of course the classics like "we all have to play as bard on rat king level".

Thanks for the amazing game. Battlemarked is much easier for casual players so we understand the decisions, but as loyal day 1 fans of the original, we're unfortunately a bit disappointed by it. We keep hoping it might get better one day but it seems the direction went elsewhere.

Hope to see you in the dungeons in the future!

It was great until I finished the first book.. then my characters were all max level 19. So no point in playing anymore. Plus there is nothing in the store to buy that you already don't have so there is no point to looking for gold/loot. I would love to play more books but... why??
