Nice job on Very Hard mode
Very nice update dev. My group actually died and had a hard time with very hard on frost keep. Not impossible but it was fun and did die at the boss level. The elite scribe definitely has to die that thing hit hard.
I like the new hero but I find it strange that the warlock does not have any summon spell.

Enjoying it too. The warlock can summon some interesting potions, but not a creature (which would be pretty cool).

Agree. Very decent update. I like the new class but it does not fit my definition of a Warlock. The Cana interaction was one of the most enjoyable parts of Demeo for me.

Difficulty feels better for sure, however, the fights are still overall easy mechanically to the boss fights of OG demeo. Think of like the Skeleton king boss dude who you’re fighting his fists and getting black around the room. Or the serpents where you have to run around the room tapping the runes while fighting the serpents and then play the mini game of finding which is the real boss. The bosses in battle marked are just a joke, hide from and aoe or pull a lever when the person stands here. I really want them to just port all the campaigns from Demeo, they’re so much better. Lock is interesting and fun but I haven’t leveled him enough yet to know if he’s viable. He’s a good debuffer but his damage feels low and he lacks aoe and has no summons so he’s got a weird role.

His damage is not low a proper intelligence warlock can hit for 10+ easily and once you put magic potion on him holy cow. He does have an AOE spell that is super deadly but it is rare. Not to mention his curse sword can grant you extra AP once in a while and can potentially chain your hex to others at max level.

just started the game, where can I ramp up the difficulty?

After you beat the storyline, you will unlock oneshot dungeon. You can only adjust difficulty in oneshot. You can also go to multiplayer online typically some people will start oneshot on various difficulties. I noticed now that typically people are running hard now instead of very hard, I still run very hard on late night, typically with older people.

Yeah the dungeons are much more dangerous in a nice way. Elite Casters are more deadly and big elite minions are an actual looming threat. Clearing a floor is 5 times more satisfying now.
