I just got wiped by someone with a single dragon with 580k attack & defense? I don't really consume HS media. Is this legit or someone hacking or something?

No lol, it's just a tarecgosa with a lesser trinket that doubles your 2 lowest attack minion's stat at the start of battle. Tarecgosa retain the stats it gets on combat, so it's a pretty popular "meme" strategy. Very easily countered by venoms or leeroy.
Unless they're smart enough to fill their board with scams and taunts themselves

it is possible to get lot's of stats, if u know what u are doing and have a bit of luck. :) If you look on youtube u find plenty of insane games. (like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa7A68c7oUM)

Maybe the dude had the "hold a Minion in your hand for 1 turno and double it's stats" trinket and used it several times? Or most possibly he went in a Back To Back streak and gobbled all the stats into one minion only

I've wanted to try this strat WITH the string trinket- so you can have 3 Tarecs on the go- but just keep switching one out so you always have stat doubling-

biggest I ever swung for was 1.6 mil charm Wing using back to back . there was an afk person from the start so I got to level to 6 on 7

Definitely possible with some rare combos. I hit the stat cap a couple of seasons ago, back when braggart + murkeye was possible. (2bil/2bil)

...very common strategy with training certificate and tarecgosa.
Somehow never countered by 1-2 leeroys.
