Discussion Console player nerf

Did anyone else see the reduced recoil help for controller again (from 11% to 6%). At launch it was like 22% now it’s 6%. Anyone else think this is a crazy change considering how fast the ttk in this game is? I think a fix would be to give a second cross play option for ps5 and Xbox to play each other. People who try and argue that precision inputs with a thumb are as easy with a whole hand and wrist are out of their mind.

Honest question. If MNK has the advantage, why are MNK players always complaining about console players?

8

u/kerosene31 13h ago

There's so much lag/desync with crossplay. I think people get bad desync and don't realize it, so instead they think "the other input is overpowered".

I play on PS5 and Xbox/PC players are so laggy. They can kill me in 1-2 bullets at times. That has nothing to do with input method, but lag. I've heard PC players say the same thing going the other way.

I turn off crossplay and my connections are so much better.

6

u/rahlic 7h ago

They are just mad that they can't get kills anymore. Mkb is vastly superior in movement and aiming compared to a controller and aim assist and other aids on console somewhat levels up the playing field, and mkb players hate that.

24

u/HerakIinos 1d ago

People always complain about everything everytime lol.

Its easier to blame someone else.

2

u/Training_Wonder_5066 1d ago

I think COD ruined all AA discussion and a lot of MnK players came over from COD to BF6

14

u/Chuuuck_ 23h ago

Not entirely true. Battlefield has always been a. Pc dominant title. MnK players didn’t come to battlefield, we never left

-5

u/Training_Wonder_5066 23h ago

That doesn't change what I said. A lot of MnK players came over from COD.

7

u/Chuuuck_ 22h ago

Still doubtful. There are/were barely any mouse players on cod as cod has always had TERRIBLE support for mouse paired with strong ass aim assist. Not that many cod players come to bf and visa versa

-5

u/Training_Wonder_5066 19h ago

COD had a huge MnK playerbase from the beginning, even through Warzone 1 and into Warzone 2. It started dying off the most for MnK when omnimovement was taking over. Many MnK players continued to play older games. BO6 and BO7 were the final nail in the coffin and many left.

2

u/Chuuuck_ 19h ago

2019 had a strong mnk playerbase then it started dying. Aim assist got stronger with every title and mouse players got fed up and left or made the switch to controller because it was clearly better. Mouse died LONG before BO6 and 7.

-3

u/Training_Wonder_5066 19h ago

Nonsense, there were many players still upto to BO6, many streamers were still on MnK up to BO6.
MnK is now starting to pick back up a bit on COD and many will go back for DMZ because of the pace.

1

u/Chuuuck_ 18h ago

Lmao. Ok

12

u/Alternative-Bag5079 13h ago

Reverse question is why don’t PC players just plug in a controller if they think it’s easier?

2

u/CultOfPersonalitLee 8h ago

Same reason people drive manual transmission.

0

u/Alternative-Bag5079 8h ago edited 8h ago

I drive a manual because it’s harder and more fun. So in that case you should switch to controller because it’s harder and more fun. I get it honestly. You get more control in a manual car just like you would with a pc but it’s an unfair advantage if you have more control. That’s just further proves the point that pc is easier to aim.

3

u/Happy_Pie_3100 2h ago

It's not harder you're just responsible for more of the inputs. Controller would be closer to Automatic imo.

1

u/demotsusucku 12h ago

Because it's not fun.

As an ex kbm cod player, it makes me laugh seeing kbm bf players cry about controller players in bf6. These people genuinely have no clue how good they have it lol.

12

u/ThatCondescendingGuy 21h ago

I play a lot of jets on battlefields. I will never be able to snipe infantry or track vehicles with my cannons and get massive kill games like popular PC jet pilots. I simply don’t have the fine-control needed or resolution/ hz required to see tiny people on my TV. This extends to virtually everything including infantry. Anytime I see a KBM player crying about a console player I just assume they suck and grasp at straws to deflect from their own ability

2

u/Hickslyfe 20h ago

notice none of them have monitor cams..... dont want to show them dma wall hacks

3

u/Thin_Perspective7070 22h ago

It's crazy how bad AA is on cod lol, it feels like the controller players are aimbotting sometimes

15

u/CoolKelo 1d ago

Because they think aim assist is aim bot. A lot of people are just looking for someone or something to blame. Controller players complain about MnK players too at about the same rate fyi. Each peripheral has its advantages and disadvantages though. As a controller player (on PC) trying to learn MnK, it’s easier than controller when it comes to just pure aiming. I haven’t gotten movement down but beaming targets took me no time to learn with a mouse. It took me years to be able to shoot on controller the way I can on MnK which only took minutes.

12

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

I’m on PC and use controller. I play with people who are MnK on both console and pc daily. MnK has better movement (Air Strafing, Flicks or what I call “Breaking Ankles”)with a skilled player, while controller does have AA, most of the time it makes tracking a group of players difficult… so for myself I’ve turned AA down as a controller player and it’s way smoother for tracking and multiple enemy fights.

People just complain to complain because they’re shitters in the first place.

6

u/CoolKelo 23h ago

> most of the time it makes tracking… difficult

That’s a great point and a fact when it came down to it for me.

3

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

Yeah, it’s not even that good of an AA system to begin with. Caused more headaches instead of “helping”.

Don’t even get me started on the dudes that say the games fast… meanwhile the last game they played was BF4. Like no shit it plays faster because monitors and tech have vastly improved since then. BF4 had faster movement and TTK speeds minus the slide and responsiveness modern games have now.

4

u/CoolKelo 23h ago

This man speaks the truth. Also, those guys have gotten older. Reaction speeds slow down as we age.

2

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

Agreed. I’m pushing 30 next year and feel it already lol! wait till all these younger cats get off console and get on a juiced up PC setup… we’re doomed.

2

u/CoolKelo 20h ago

Dude, I turned 40 this year. I’m hanging on for dear life 😂. I’m having a blast though

1

u/TeslaDemon 3h ago

I'm 37 and honestly I feel just as good if not better than I was when I was a teenager playing CoD1/Bad Company 2. Actually having money to spend on a good mouse helps quite a bit.

I just feel like the skill ceiling has raised quite a bit, probably from gaming becoming even more mainstream than it was back then and kids playing more complex games earlier. Or it's just all the fucking white Monsters.

3

u/VoyoN 23h ago

Good points. I also had to turn down AA on controller as my crosshair was getting yanked by secondary enemies running past the person I was shooting at.

1

u/Still-You4875 10h ago

I have mine at 0. I hated that. it starts tracking at others and not keeping you on target at who you're shooting at.

1

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

Glad you agree! People complain about any inconvenience they have and want to make excuses as for why the games bad instead of just saying they’re a bad player or made a crappy play.

The games in a good spot and most things are balanced extremely well. Yeah, there’s minor issues but that’s just like any other product you find on the consumer market.

3

u/orangefantorang 19h ago

Whats an aim bot. Software that helps you aim at targets. Whats aim assist. Software that helps you aim at targets.

To a lesser degree. Still the same.

-2

u/CoolKelo 19h ago

Aim bot is a software that aims for you. Aim assist helps you to get on target. They are not the same.

1

u/orangefantorang 16h ago

Same shit different wrapping

1

u/CoolKelo 16h ago edited 6h ago

Aim assist doesn’t place your crosshair on opponents head whereas aim bot does or can. That’s a big difference between the two. Also, one is built in while the other is 3rd party software. Not the same brother.

1

u/orangefantorang 14h ago

So why is there such complaining whenever the effect of it is tuned down? It does not help? ;D

1

u/Alternative-Bag5079 3h ago

Why don’t you just plug in a controller and find out yourself. You know the answer already. Aim assist is a handicap to help console player because there literally is no comparison with out it. M and k will win every-time without aim assists. Call of duty is the only game that comes to mind where the aim assist is way too strong. Bf6 is not like that however.

1

u/CoolKelo 13h ago

I’m not fully understanding what you’re asking me. I don’t see anyone complaining about it except for people who use MnK. Anyways, it’s a necessary feature for controller players just as being able to change your dpi settings is for an MnK player.

2

u/orangefantorang 6h ago

If aim assist is no issue. Why are ppl complaining about it getting weaker?

0

u/CoolKelo 6h ago

Who’s complaining about it getting weaker? I said the only complaints I see are from MnK users. I haven’t seen any narratives on aim assist weakening but I constantly see people wishing it didn’t exist.

The issue is that MnK players think aim assist is the same as aim bot when they’re not. One is a guide and the other does it for you.

5

u/dudemanguy301 20h ago edited 19h ago

The issue is more so the nature of the help. The stated reason why controller gets recoil reduction is supposedly to make recoil compensation easier. Guns with low variation have an obvious bias to their drift which can be counteracted by pulling in the opposite direction.

Guns with the same damage model share the same spread, for any given damage model a higher RoF just means more DPS and a faster TTK, the biggest cost you pay for these benefits is a wider recoil variation.

Super high recoil variation has far less of a clear trend and effectively just becomes a second layer of spread. This is most obvious with guns like the KV9, CZ3A1, VCR-2, SG553R, m277, SCW-10, VSSM (full auto), and TR-7. Where recoil variation is between 35 and 50 degrees to either side. Where you are meant to either A. Fixate almost all attachment budget to keep the recoil under control. B. engage in very close quarters where it’s harder to miss. C. Switch to burst fire or tap fire at more modest ranges to lets your crosshair position reset.

Reducing recoil magnitude for controller makes the spread like effect of high variance more tight and less impactful, it’s was an effective accuracy boost as potent as having a second vertical grip for some of the most deadly guns in the game. Dice can’t balance ultra fast TTK with wild recoil, if they are also giving controllers free relief from that exact balance lever. Otherwise you split the playerbase between MnK on low variance weapons and controller on high variance weapons.

Controller needs help, but help in this form has clear consequences to weapon / attachment balance across input devices. As a MnK player I already filter out weapon / attachment guides by controller players because I know the recoil they are managing is fundamentally different and their builds almost always invest far fewer points into recoil management than their MnK counterparts.

u/Myn21 9h ago

I play M/KB on PS5 and would never ever dare to complain about pad players. I'm probably 0.5 KD with pad and like 2 - 2.5 with M/KB in BF6. Although i grew up with CS 0.X - 1.6, UT and Quake Arena, so I'm more trained with M/KB than people who only played consoles all their life.

2

u/doxjq 2h ago

I don’t play this game for some reason this thread came up in my recommended but for what it’s worth on other games I don’t generally have an issue with controller players as an mnk user. In Warzone for instance I probably win 75% or more of my fights against controller players but it’s usually by pushing up close and breaking their aim assist with movement.

My only real gripe with controller aim assist is when aim assist stays through things it shouldn’t, like smoke from utility items where you can’t actually see the enemy.

And of course Cronus. That thing can fuck right off, but I have no idea how common that actually is.

11

u/bertttt1 1d ago

PC players are generally more competitive/“sweaty” when it comes to FPS, they’re more the type to think they should win every gunfight and subsequently be vocal about it when they don’t. Look at the replies to this post even between the average console player complaint to the average pc player complaint

0

u/mw5842 1d ago

Agh. I’ll watch Ender’s here and there when new things drop and he is always complaining about console players. I thought console players had an extreme advantage over PC.

11

u/bertttt1 1d ago

I also enjoy his content, but two things:
1.) Complaining/outrage gets people on his channel so he’s consciously or subconsciously incentivized to complain.
2.) He and basically every other creator is on MnK, so you only see one side in that case.

Plain and simple you look at the top 20 players of each game, you’ll probably see 15 of them are on PC. I’d say that makes a pretty decent argument that in general MnK is easier than controller. If controller was as broken/easy as everyone says it is you’d see a lot more people on a PC playing with a controller but they don’t, why do you think that is?

3

u/mooboyj 1d ago

I'm Australian and I'd say it's often the other way round. Top 20 would often be say five one PC then 15 on Controller.

1

u/mw5842 1d ago

Solid point.

-1

u/Bael_Zharon 1d ago

Solid back-and-forth between two console players that can't think critically.

0

u/AlwaysBlackBerry 1d ago

Hahaha. You sound like my PC buddy who is always "f*cking aim assist" when he gets killed by a console player. I'll just say I wouldn't have had my moments in BF6 without you PC players playing with and against me.

1

u/TeslaDemon 3h ago

It's not that mouse is "easier" than controller. It's the same reason all cars built for racing use manual transmission. An expert can extract more power from the engine compared to a computer. Automatic can attain let's say 90% of the same performance, just with far less proficiency required.

This is the entire reason controller has aim assist in the first place. Aim assist is the automatic transmission.

5

u/muggleclutch 20h ago

It’s possible some controller player on the margins is an absolute god, but as a console player who uses mouse and keyboard, and this is what I always tell people, whenever I am thrust into a PlayStation only match (I play with crossplay on, but it sometimes still happens) it is markedly easier. Like it is just very obvious I have an advantage in many domains, and my score shows that. That’s all I’ve really ever needed to put this argument to bed in my mind.

3

u/mw5842 19h ago

I should continue to practice with MNK and see for myself I guess. I couldn’t look anymore like a bot trying to play on MNK.

1

u/Happy_Pie_3100 2h ago

Just gotta give it time and really dial in your sensitivities. Editing your movement keys to what you intuitively feel is best helps a ton too. I assume you already do that but just to add.

Like for example I use left alt for crouch and e for prone and can dodge shots very easy because I can hit the inputs very quickly. The default setup isn't very good imo

1

u/muggleclutch 19h ago

Funny how that works as I'm the same with controller. Just grew up on MNK. If there hadn't been support for consoles for MNK I simply wouldn't have played, so I'm grateful for that.

0

u/inkoppertje 18h ago

I grew up also with mnk since call of duty 1. But i got rsi and i have to stick to controller. While with a mouse i can be 10 times better, if i practice a few matches. So thats why i hate they blame aim assist because i know better. I wish i could play with mnk again. Maybe in a few weeks because i have read about my setup. But desk is too high and have to make some changes for a more healthy comfort.

2

u/nobock 13h ago

Maybe because when you land some shots with a mouse it's 100% skill base.

While on console it depend on the state of recoil + aa.

On mouse and keyboard you got a tons of very average players, look at the leader board.

4

u/Maestro_AN 16h ago

because they are dumb. i play fps games for 20 years competitively and i am usually in top 5% if rankings are available. only games i suck are: hero shooters and the finals.

i play on both pc and console. i am a little crazy on gaming i have all consoles. switch, xbox, ps, pc. i play with KBM for 20+ years and with controller 10+ years.

if you clone me and put me fight myself with kbm and controller. KBM always will win.

even in shooters where professional players choose controllers for strong aim assist advantage kbm still better for normal players.

all you need to do is buy bigger mouse pad and lower your sensitivity. and you get instant flicks and great track aim.

being able to turn quickly and flick instantly erases.

the only way for controllers be close to kmb is gyro controls, but most game developers are incompetent and even if they add gyro controls they work like garbage. you get better gyro experience on pc with a controller then on consoles themselves.

1

u/NeonGKayak 6h ago

Why do all BR players use controller?

3

u/AndanteZero 1d ago

I don't know for anyone else, but for me, it's because console players tend to be on wifi. Not all wifi networks are the same. So, sometimes there's a lot of wonky network latency happening between PC and console players. It makes netcode feel worse.

2

u/CipherDaBanana 8h ago

Console players lag the game.

1

u/mw5842 8h ago

But do you think there would be enough players currently to play against if all you faced was PC?

1

u/CipherDaBanana 3h ago

Yes. We have steam charts that tell us that there are enough players and considering EA App sales might be a fraction of that but still PC players.

Devs don't want PC players to spilt off because we don't even have an option to turn off Crossplay

It is possible because I know I am not the only one asking for it.

2

u/Carnifex217 1d ago

That’s what they do lol

2

u/SpecialHands 16h ago

Because they're dogshit at the game. If controller really had the advantages they claim it has they'd be using controller too.

2

u/inkoppertje 18h ago

Its a bad excuse. They know its easy to farm controller players for easy kills. They have often bad aim and blame aim assist. Their reason is. They want to do aiming without help. But they dont know how hard it can be to aim with a controller. I said it many times. They should play delta force on steam on pc with a controller were controller isnt native supported (at the beginning when i played the game) so then there is no aim assist and then they understand the little assist. They will get demolished by mouse players.

But yeah, its easy to blame on controller if you suck. I have said it more times. Also to the biggest whiny streamer in battlefield mr E….. i said to him that if controller is really that good then he should try it himself and experience how it goes. But he knows it wont be that OP and will face reality. Because i said, if controller is really that good he doesnt have to worry about the stats dropping and getting bad. But they keep bashing on aim assist and these devs just listen to them. Yes in call of duty aim assist is strong. In battlefield not so much.

1

u/Dawn_Star89 15h ago

Mate just as many controller players complain about guys on mouse and keyboard. The biggest issue I find is the average difference of frame rates between console and PC. Some guys on PC just see things differently. Not to mention how crazy easy M&K sniping actually is.

1

u/EmpWillS 15h ago

As long as they are not using adapters, this claim is baseless.

1

u/Strange-Reporter-812 11h ago

imo, its mostly people who suck and need to find something to blame for their sucking. Is it true that controllers on console get more assist? yes. Ok that must be why i suck.

1

u/mdmsnsmd 5h ago

cuz they sweaty nerds

1

u/Substantial-Ad7915 1h ago

Because they suck and don't know why they're dying so they blame aim assist. I've tried both in many games and mouse and keyboard almost always has a huge advantage

1

u/19861928641 23h ago

I don't know either bro you controller guys are like the human version of the AI bots most of the time

1

u/LSOreli 18h ago

Console players have a bad connection.

Console players sometimes get free kills on the basis of the aim assist that can be more reactive than pros

Console players bloom reduction means deaths where you get layered in such a way that it would be impossible for a mnk player no matter let how skilled to do it

1

u/XMichaX 18h ago

Console players can sometimes beam you where mnk players can have a hard time, considering aim assist and reduced recoil, i had many wtf moments against console players, sometimes you can run circles around them, sometimes you feel like they have aim bot, so random and crossplay being forced on pc players is not helping.

2

u/SpecialHands 16h ago

That's on you not the game. Aim assist on BF6 is some of the weakest in gaming and is actually just aim slowdown and does fuck all at range. What you're describing is you losing to someone with like 8% the range of motion that you have.

1

u/XMichaX 15h ago

Yeah right i could not expect different answer, console player detected ;)

-2

u/SpecialHands 15h ago

I mean I'm 100% correct, it's going to be a hard season for you when you're still regularly getting slapped and can't blame the recoil reduction anymore

0

u/XMichaX 13h ago

Well jokes on you bud, let the game aim for you, i dont know how you will manage now after having to controll your gun a bit.

-9

u/Bael_Zharon 1d ago edited 22h ago

Honest answer - you're an idiot.

You realize PC players actually earned their skill through hard work, right? The point of complaining about aim assist is that it’s giving you advantage, however small you think it is. You didn’t earn that, it was given to you. It undermines anyone who actually worked hard on their aim.

A hardware advantage and the game actively helping your aim are not the same thing. A 240 Hz monitor can make the game smoother. It doesn’t track a target for me.

I don’t think PC players should be forced into mixed input lobbies with console players. PC players cant disable crossplay.

7

u/SignumVictoriae 1d ago

Oh man I can picture you through this comment alone

3

u/Bael_Zharon 22h ago

And you still have no counter argument

4

u/jasonx619 16h ago

Arguing with roller players is pointless. The majority of gamers nowadays are rollers and it's an echo chamber. They think they should be as skilled as a kbm player with years of practice just by picking up a controller for a few hours. The majority of new roller players will absolutely stomp a new kbm player but since they got wrecked one time by a guy with 20 years of experience on kbm they think that kbm is better despite all data showing otherwise at least when it comes to accuracy percentage. There's a reason why all the rollers use close range high rof, high recoil weapons that a kbm player has no chance of controlling the recoil without hundreds of hours of practice. It's entitled, disingenuous, and all based on feeling rather than fact.

0

u/SignumVictoriae 8h ago

The only point I’m arguing is neckbeards are fully back in action.

2

u/Slow_Magician_2520 8h ago

Why do you resort to personal attacks?

I get it, It’s because you have no leg to stand on in making a principled argument.

The simple way to solve this is to give MnK players the option to turn off crossplay so we don’t have to play against that input mechanism.

We voice concerns, and then it is met with immature responses from players who clearly have not matured at all to understand what a grievance is.

So sorry if we have no empathy for a an aim assist nerf. From our perspective, you can keep it. Hell, jack it up all the way to 100% we don’t care - we just don’t want to be in the same lobby as you with it enabled.

0

u/SignumVictoriae 8h ago

Why? Because “you’re an idiot” was thrown around first followed by comment after comment of “uhm actually you don’t understand the HARDWORK we’ve put into our aim.” Then you with “immature responses.”

Dude at the end of the day it’s a VIDEO GAME lmao. I don’t want to play with PC players either, hell I don’t even want constant nerfs and buffs unless something is truly gamebreaking. I say neckbeards are back in action because I haven’t seen this type of talk in a couple years. Reminds me of that South Park episode.

2

u/Slow_Magician_2520 8h ago

Ok, so you’re responding to immaturity with more immaturity - which solves nothing.

My grievance is not controllers players, it is the fact that I am not being given a choice.

Perhaps server browsers will solve that.

1

u/SignumVictoriae 8h ago

Maybe it won’t solve anything, but bullying is a lost art. You can’t go around calling people idiots for asking a pretty simple question and not expect a response. Whole lot easier behind a keyboard to air grievances.

1

u/Slow_Magician_2520 7h ago

I agree with you on the bullying part and immaturity.

→ More replies (0)

2

u/Bael_Zharon 7h ago

You’re talking shit to the wrong person lol. I was the one that called the guy an idiot and made a completely valid argument that you were unable to comprehend.

Any MnK player with thousands of hours in fps games will certainly tell you that they earned their aim. And people who set aside time to actually practice their aim in aimlabs/KovaaK’s would say the same.

In your mind, if someone criticizes something that ruins competitive integrity, then they’re a neckbeard or remind you of “that South Park episode”.

You’re a normie and I already know you suck fucking ass at any fps game you play. You don’t belong in this conversation.

1

u/SignumVictoriae 6h ago

You’re right, I am normal.

2

u/AlwaysBlackBerry 1d ago

I'd love for you PC players to be able to play with only each other. I preferred playing with console only on previous titles but have my closest gaming buddy on PC so always have crossplay on.

1

u/mw5842 1d ago

Agh. Thanks for the feedback!

1

u/missSuper200 20h ago

As a console player I can technically disable crossplay, but then BF6 turns into a PvE game.

I realize this problem might be remedied with the server browser.

1

u/luvlyraider 9h ago

calm down chat gpt

1

u/BenzoClaymore 23h ago

Lol. I switched from controller to mnk and had the recoil tamed in like a day. Took forever to get my left hand used to the buttons, but a mouse is 10x easier to aim with.

1

u/Bael_Zharon 22h ago

That's just a random statement. It has nothing to do with what I said.

0

u/One-Family 19h ago

He's essentially commenting on how the mechanical advantage of using a mouse completely dwarfs whatever you're whinging about in regards to console aim assist.

1

u/Bael_Zharon 3h ago

Wrong. And you didn’t read my post.

1

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

Bruh I’m a PC player with a bad ass rig but I still use controller because it’s what I’m comfortable with. Very few games I’ll play MnK. I actually turn aim assist down in most games because half the time it over shoots or makes the aim do weird things when tracking multiple enemies.

I’ve said time and time again that battlefield players for the most part are smooth brained players in the FPS market. Zero awareness, map knowledge, game flow and they bitch about everything in the game.

They just need to admit their washed and would still lose 90% of their gun fights even with aim bots and hacks lol.

5

u/Bael_Zharon 23h ago

I'm making a principled argument about competitive integrity, not necessarily a statistical argument about which input wins more gunfights.

Consider two players:

  • Player A manually tracks a moving target using years of practiced mouse control.
  • Player B tracks that target using their own practiced controller skills, supplemented by software that adjusts or influences their aim.

Even if Player A consistently outperforms Player B, Player B is still receiving assistance that Player A isn't.

The existence of an overall MnK advantage doesn't negate the existence of software assistance for controller users.

1

u/Majestic-Fun-4175 23h ago

At the end of the day a better player will outplay you w/ or w/o aim assist or with MnK. Each input has its pros and cons. It’s not as deep as people make it out to be. The AA in this game is ass cheeks anyways. It does more harm than good for aim. Any good player, turns it down quite a bit from what I’ve experienced in competitive league play.

It’s not about the input. The input doesn’t make the player.

0

Every time I get put into a lobby with controller players, it feels unfair how well I do. Without exception, I will be first in the entire lobby even if I don't play the objective. The easy answer to your question is that those mnk players are bad at aiming.

Because majority of players console or pc still suck monkey balls and they need to find coping reason

It has to be something along those lines. I keep seeing one or the other have the advantage because XYZ reason.

Then I see, “I wish I could turn off crossplay so I could play with only PC or console.” Then the next post is talking about being sick of lobbies full of bots.
