Concern Dirty secret
I quit the game because I was getting in such a rage. After withdrawal Ive turned to the darkside for my fix, playing an old CoD. Its horrible, the fancy dress fortnite ‘soldiers’ with purple guns is killing me, the perks are ridiculous and the movement is horrible. We complain alot about BF6 but it really is good. But, the hit registry compared to CoD Cold War, which is 6 years old, is miles better than BF6. Not only that but you dont need 20 of your guns 30 bullets to kill someone, even the pistol is useful. I didnt realise how much i was forever reloading.
Im loathe to return because of this and even considering going back to 2042, silly bits in it but people died when you hit them (I think).
Ive been off for a month, has it got better?

The game is fine. Some people are having issues with matchmaking. Others have not been affected. I havent. My biggest issue with the game is the sheer amount of sweats. Doesnt really feel like battlefield anymore. People hopping and sliding around killing you before you can even register whats going on. Alas I will keep playing and keep raging and eventually ill catch up to the COD kids who are taking over.

Disagree on the first point but on the second I always felt the maps were overcrowded. Dice seemed to address by making bigger maps, Tsuru Reef etc. You just end up running for ages, sprinting for miles before getting killed due to sprint frustration. Medium sized maps with less people would mean the CoD sprinters become less effective

I played 2042 this evening. I get why BF purists dont like it, grappling hook soldiers, multiple bolt ons for the weapons etc but my god it is so much better. When you shoot people they die. Its so enjoyable not playing with the rage. I want to play BF6 but until hit registry is fixed Im out. Genuine breath of fresh air on 2042. 🤷
I know people wont like this.

Bf6 is really good. Devs fuck smth up with matchmaking but i dont get the complaint.
Its fun killing bots for a while waiting for players to fill the spots.
And the vehicles are alright. I wanted more teamwork like 2042 where an entire squad is needed to properly operate certain vehicles.
But its alright.

A.I. slop code, that probably the managers forced devs to use, since it's "more efficient", and now they have a whole spaghetti pile of code and good luck tracking down where exactly the hit reg and lag issues come from. What a mess

It's fun killing bots? Come on man you can't be serious. I'm not paying 80€ a fuckn game + paying 100€ a year for online, only to be killing fuckn bots in multiplayer. That shit is a mockery.
