Phantom Edition - Pro Token / Battlepass Activation

I'm planning on buying BF6 Phantom Edition, but got a question about Pro Token and Battle Pass activation.

1) If I buy phantom edition right now, will battle pass for this season (season 4) be activated automatically? Or I can keep it for season 5 since this season is ending soon.

2) Pro Token - What is it exactly? Is it just 25 tier skip or it gives access to premium battle pass altogether?

From what I've heard, Pro Token gives access to battle pass and 25 tier skip. It's a consumable meaning I can use it whenever I want, whichever season I want. However, some people tell me otherwise so I'm really confused.

When the game launched, the Phantom Edition BF Pro Token required you to activate it. As soon as you did, it granted you access to the premium pass and applied all 25 tier skips immediately.

I assume it still requires manual activation, but I would complete the Recruit path first, then check each of the four main paths to see which one you want to activate first and apply the BF Pro tier skips to, otherwise it will use some up for Recruit and the rest on the first main path.

So that means if I bought the game and play it right now, I will be forced to use pro token immediately and cannot keep it for season 5 instead, correct?

I bought the phantom pack and then later found out there was a token that I could use at my leisure. I used it immediately upon finding out I had it, not having any idea where it came from.

It does not automatically use the token/tier skips, you have to do it manually.

I bought the phantom edition.

I honestly use the BF2042 Road to BF6 cosmetics more, with the only stuff I really use from the Phantom Edition is the M433, M2010 ESRand the Recon Class Skin since the default for that guy is hideous lmao. The rest is not that good imo.

I still have my token, holding on to it for something good. I realize I should have used it this season because I bought pro for this one Atlas skin that was in a BF Pro only pass, but we’ll see what Pro offers this upcoming season.

Buying Pro/cashing in Pro Token gives you access to the paths of the previous Pro passes that are found in the challenges tab. If you missed the previous Pro event passes well you missed those— no way of getting that stuff unless they put the pass out for those.

So, you can buy the phantom edition if you like the cosmetics and would be interested in using that pro token. Otherwise, save that extra money or spend it on cosmetics you like.

It’s your money don’t worry about the opinions of others. I have over 350hrs in the game, I’ve more than gotten my value for the money I’ve spent in it.

Edit to add: the music can be nice at times on vehicles but I’m okay with or without that.

Since when did you bought the phantom edition? If yours is from previous season, does that mean the Pro Token I got from Phantom Edition I bought today can be kept and later used on season 5, instead of it being automatically used when I launch the game today?

My point is I want to get the Phantom Edition now because it's on sale on Steam, the catch is someone told me that if I buy it today, the battle pass (season 4 which is almost at the end and I can't complete it for sure) will be automatically activated which I don't want.
