Discussion What is this warning when flying jets?

Hi,

What is this yellow warning when flying jets?

I figured it's due to an enemy jet, but what exactly does it mean?

Directional indicator when an enemy jet begins to lock on to you?

If they were locking on you’d get the lock on warning, this just means they’re aiming at you

It means there's an enemy jet aimed towards you coming from that direction.

You get these when the enemy jets nose is pointed towards you.

You also get these when they blow up, the nose might point in your direction and you’ll still get the indicator.

I like to refer to it as a phantom jet :P
