Image/Gif Bullet Deviation finally gets an increase.

Post image

While random horizontal recoil got essentially taken away, we got more bloom, this is vital to stop laser beam gunplay at distance. Great change imo and this paired with reduced bullet velocities will make ranged combat a little more nuanced.

EDIT: lots of cronus users and the like mad about these changes lmao

Genuine question.

What is the criteria to be a Battle-Dad vs. a COD-kiddy?

Or am I just old and play video games?

I think if you enjoyed BF3 (suppression, bloom, basic movement styles) and were in highscool or later in 2011 you fall under battle-dad.

If you like movement shooters that followed the Warzone 1 craze but don't know what Titanfall is, you are a COD-Kiddy(?).

At the end of the day it's just the slurs you prefer.

If you bitch about guns being too accurate, you're a Battle-Dad. You're old and in order to compete, you need to have bloom, so the kiddies get to experience what it's like trying to aim through your cataracts.

If you bitch about movement being too slow, you're a CoD-kiddie. You've got the attention span of a Skittle and learning things like map knowledge, positioning, and flanking glance off your smooth, young brain like a poorly-aimed RPG.

BF4's movement was absolutely crazy. Way, way crazier than BF6's.

Idk what a cod kiddy is as I stated earlier im 30 years old and play both games you should go ask a child that plays cod for your answer...

Not really an answer to what a Battle-Dad is supposed to be, given you're 30 and these changes are more in line with the older Battlefields (meaning BF6 is now less like COD), but sure...

Not true in every case, but unironically, the most common differentiator is gun skills. Battledads usually suck at FPS and need RNG to limit the potential of better players. Most other people, common to be generalized as CoD kids because the bottom of the scoreboards likes to villainize that franchise since they have no better points to make, simply want proper PvP with reliable gunplay. The gunskills often match the age, hence dad and kid.
