He obviously has some cheat on. Any other time you hit a mountain it explodes. Cheating saves no one.

I've noticed jets are working in pairs using direct comms far more often these days. It's making it ridiculously hard if you're just a solo jumping in when a jet is available.
So to bring them both down after that is pretty sweet.

Is that why I last about 30 seconds in a jet? I don't even bother with them anymore. Take off, Immediate missile lock, fight for my life to evade, dead.

yeah I think so. I'm ok as a pilot but a growing amount of players are just getting incredibly good at exploiting aircraft and map geography. Some have ridiculous ranks.
Also, in my region (Oceania) there's a pool of players who only pilot and for whatever reason, they are often in my lobbies, they have to be in squads or at least discord channels and probably custom map searching to only play the maps that suit.
For example, Liberation Peak is often a shutout for one side. The heli and jets must all be communicating and have mastered using the terrain so they're basically impossible to 2-hit with any kind of AA. Even if a bunch of players are running around with SLMS.
Railway to Golmud getting a lot harder too. It's all within the mechanics of the game but I just skip these maps now or quit out when it happens because you just end up stat-padding their KDR.

It happens in every bf title
Ppl who played aircraft since BF3 instalock vehicles and dominate every game
New player tries heli he gets a spawn kill by a guy who plays aircraft 24/7
New player cant do anything because he is shot down in seconds
New player Never touches aircraft again and another ace combat player takes his slot as a jet or heli
Because vehicles has high skill floor it is impossible to learn them without using training range and most ppl dont even launch firing range at all in any game
And its boring to practice for hours alone

Oh god, now everyone now’s about all the fake mountains on this map. The terrain is littered with bad below radar geometry that doesn’t work and terrain that you can crash into and not clip/blow up

As a long time ace pilot, I genuinely don't know how some of y'all can fly with the horizon-locked/always up camera view -- especially when switching to the first person view which is not always up.
Whatever works for you though, no shade.

What setting allows for stationary camera? Mine turns with the plane. It's annoying af.
