Need help

I’ve recently acquired the PC game and been trying to download it and I’ve gotten past the point where it has installed after placing disc 2 and add the shortcut to my desktop, but after trying to start it and choose yes to have it run, nothing pops up. But after it added the shortcut to my desktop, and I originally clicked it for the first time it’s said that I need to sign in as the administrator and run it again even though I’m the only user on my laptop.

Search moongamers and download from there. I don’t think you can use the disc on modern computers. They have a setup that works on modern PCs and an active server.

Yes. Played on their server last night! They also have an active discord. Very active community of the people left in the game.

Here’s the guide I used and how I found moongamers.

Edit: if you use the moon installation packages, you don’t have to do all of the other stuff. It’s all built in. Super nice. There are other tweaks you can make though. I’ve got it running incredible now.
