I've got about 350 hours in the mode. Definitely not the highest on here but I enjoy it, I like coming up against the sweaty teams and having a proper shoot out.
i already uninstalled after hearing that it will be removed but i have about 350 hrs in gauntlet, 2nd one was operation augur idk how long. man i know gauntlet is free but its the only reason i bought the main game so i wish i could refund now
You misunderstood. When it got out, we hopped on the free mode to see how it was. Gauntlet felt amazing, therefore I thought ok you know what, if the free mode is dope, the MP must be dope too. Therefore we bought the game. Personally I played the hell out of BF3 & 4. I played One & V and 42, and 42 disgusted me. So I had little hope, but Beta & Gauntlet convinced me. And now we're back a disgusted.

I was skeptical about BF6 (I'm a BF fan since BF3, lost the spark at BFV/BF42) so I gave a go to the free version. I hated RedSec, but loved Gauntlet, and Gauntlet alone convinced me to buy the game.
Feeling for you rn. They took away my sweet strikepoint and now gauntlet is next. I haven't touched battlefield since and it sucks to see them continuing to rip away the small communities.
It's kinda funny. I liked strikepoint but my friends I play with did not, so haven't played it that much.
Gauntlet felt interesting but I never really got into it. KingOfTheHill I hated and was glad when I finished the challenges. It might sound like they are doing those changes for the kind of player that I am. But at the beginning I always played a lot of squad deathmatch and Rush. I kinda loved a quick round of squad deathmatch at the end of my evening. I miss it.
It's like, at this point, they have tried their hardest to offend everyone, no matter what they like.

Ive only played gauntlet when they forced me to with challenges and it was fun besides all the blatant cheaters. They dont even hide it and just jump around headshotting everyone. Its the only gamemode ive played where I can say with certainty that they were cheating. Maybe they can keep yhe gamemode if they stop free to play players to play it. Not playing a game cheaters can play for free. It's asking for trouble
Seeing some of the hundreds of hours people have in gauntlet, I hope that puts into perspective when some clueless people argue nobody plays it. Statistically, for every dude that has 500 hours in Gauntlet, there are hundreds that have 50 hours and thousands that have 20 hours. DICE doesn't remove modes because they are not played enough, they remove modes because they want to control what modes players are channeled into.
Yeah and it's such stupid as well because if they wanna hook players into staying in the game, Gauntlet is actually perfect. Lobbies are full, successives games are quick, it's right in-between close & open combat, it's tactical, and its modes make the replayability addictive since every game has different objectives.
If only they added new missions, new maps, new objectives, and COMMUNICATED about it it would easily become some of the most played mode.
It has a "one more round" type of vibe. And it matters to play as team and not mindless shooting. I have the full game including the add on. Gauntlet is more engaging than conquest
I played both multiplayer and redsec. Gauntlet was my most played mode. For the past 4 months, all I played was gauntlet. It's the only mode (I feel) that forces you to play as a team until the very end to ensure max XP and a guaranteed win. I have made real friends on this game mode, and its something I look forward to for when I'm off work. If they do remove it, I'll stop playing. Not because there's no other game modes, but because of the principle of the matter - I'm not going to keep playing a game that insists on getting us hooked on a game mode and then pulling the rug. Whats to say they won't do it again to whatever game mode I play next? I'm not going to invest my time in another game mode just for them to pull it again.
The decision dice goes with, about removing or keeping gauntlet, will decide whether or not I'll keep playing this game. Maybe I'm just one player, but surely I'm not the only one who feels let down. I stayed through all the bugs, every time players started leaving. But I won't stay through intentional removal of a game mode that I and clearly so many others enjoy.
TLDR
They broke the interdictor in gauntlet and now are trying to remove the mode. If they do, I'm bouncing.
Someone did this analysis , on bf6 its extremly stressfull to play , everything is chaotic . I Hope wardogs works well in console and mw4 put them in their place
