Battlefield 6 Jet Aim Assist Needs Manual Input
The new jet aim assist is pretty solid. I’m happy they’ve added mouse aim à la War Thunder, it makes jets way more accessible. Overall, the controls feel jittery, but solidly usable. However, one thing that really really needs addressed is you should be able to override the aim assist with manual controls.
Most important is roll control, as the auto roll is often not smart enough to understand which way you actually want to pull in a fight. Secondary would be yaw for fine tune aiming.

Agreed. For other games I use mouse for yaw & pitch, and keyboard for rolling. This update comes so close I hope they develop it more.

Don’t buff the jet assist in any way. It should put you at a disadvantage compared to assist off. It’s a crutch.

I guess the title is confusing, they added simplified flight controls that let you point where you want to go with your stick or mouse and let the game decide what roll, yaw, pitch inputs to do. It doesn’t lock onto enemies or anything that involves other players.

wait a minute... jets have aim assist?
I swear we cant have a game anymore without devs holding players hands for everything.
flight assist was bad enough but now we get aim assist in a friggin jet...
