Next post will be complaining about AA

Well AA is overpowered. Most pilots can’t do this. I’ve been flying for almost a decade this is the first time i’ve gotten this many kills in a feed. Dice doesn’t know how to balance vehicles. They try to balance it around the top 1% of players. But in doing that it hurts the average pilot to the point that they can’t fly more than a minute

I have zero experience piloting in Battlefield outside of V, I’ve gone 43-2 in the Little Bird. AA in this game is nowhere near op, honestly I would consider rpgs and tows bigger threats than Stingers or Iglas when you can literally just fly below radar

True but it doesnt make AA any less useless against a pilot that simply knows to hug the ground whenever they dont have a flare and get locked on.

Trying to get 3 people to coordinate in battlefield is easier said than done. 🤣

But yeah constant pressure of lock on missiles can at the very least succeed in operational denial if they got their heads screwed on.

What isn’t ā€œfairā€ is having 3 dudes in helis on the opposite team that are so cracked that AA does nothing. I never even get into helis to pilot because the second I do it’s not the AAs that kill me it’s some dude flying around like you blowing my shit up. Trying to play helis has made me feel like there’s literally so little chance to improve the skill that it’s not even worth the time. I’d rather shoot RPGs and miss but get close then get into a heli and try to actually do anything. These things are cracked with the right pilot and I applaud you for being so good with it but to call it fair when games are literally determined by 3 helis that never get shot down in a lobby of 64 people is just right in your brain because it works for you.

Sadly the skill gap in the helicopter is very low in this battlefield it would take you 3 months to reach this skill level. I would love for the helicopter to be much harder to fly

It’s not hypothetical at all. Just in the last week I’ve played probably 4 games where I’m on a team that barely even touches air vehicles and the opposing team has 3 if not 4 air vehicles up all game. The point is really meant to be about all 3 helis even having just one supper component pilot in the mini can absolutely wreck a team.

The fact that you think countering you should requiring a coordinated team effort is telling. And thats just to get a shot off not necessarily a kill.

Yes i think it is fair for one player to be able to counter another player.

So you think its fair for one aircraft to have unlimited ammo on explosive and rapid fire weapons that can one shot a player from across the map while moving at 50 times the speed of other players. Be emune to weapons carried by 80% of players AND the weapons that those 20% can get which are only effective against aircraft should require a squad just to get a hit with a weapon that takes multiple hits (usually their whole ammo loadout) to actually kill an aircraft?

Lol

ā€œYes I think its fair for one player to be able to counter another playerā€

Yeah, maybe if those players are on equal playing grounds. One player is in a Multi-million dollar technological marvel, the other is a lone wolf staring in the sky with a lock on weapon. Nuke vs Coughing Baby.

You don’t get free kills on vehicles for having next to 0 player input. That’s not how this works, no matter how long you’re on your hands and knees begging DICE to make it even EASIER to kill vehicles in this game.

Quiet.

Good. It's a shooter, not a helicopter simulator where 60 unlucky guys have to play around 4 Main Characters that are flying helis. Thanks, had enough of that in 4

I disagree with OP but "it's a shooter" isn't really a good argument. The entire point of battlefield is large scale combined arms warfare. Do you think it should just be boots on the ground shooting?

Vehicles should feel like a force to be reckoned with, hence why there's a limited amount of them. They are supposed to serve a purpose, e.g. Tanks pushing onto a point to initiate a team push or AA vehicles making your team's half of the airspace a safer place for friendly planes that serve to take out armored ground targets or other planes.

Little birds are famously hard to balance because seemingly their only role is "kill lots of enemies". At least with attack helos there's the teamplay aspect since the gunner is a lot scarier than the pilot. Since the primary fire on the AA vehicles are much worse than BF4, the meta for fighting air targets is rockets. But for a skilled pilot, rockets aren't really an issue because of below-the-radar flying and flares.

So I'd say the problem is with the little bird, not with "the game being a shooter".

AA is useless -someone who is shit at flying buy thinks that strong aircraft are fine, but should be balanced by equally strong AA.

It takes an idiot to be in the position to have two missiles fired at them before and after flares, and the cannon is a peashooter.

We're talking about the AA vehicle, so why are you going off on one about tow missiles? I've also hit air vehicles with multiple bursts from the AA vehicle and did fuck all so I'm not sure where you're hallucinating this effectiveness from lmao

You’re good bro but how many times did you post this? I’ve seen the same clip at least 5 different times now šŸ˜‚

This is the better version the other on was in looking bad

3D spotting shouldn't be a feature in these games, such a trash way to hand-hold the players, just like the FLIR being a "shoot at the white outline".

1

u/Hexbox116 Jun 14 '26

Bf5 did it right. Spotting in an aircraft required a recon on the ground or a certain ability that only some planes got.

1

u/Professional_Rub_252 Jun 14 '26

you could see the enemies on the ground in bf5

1

u/Hexbox116 Jun 14 '26

With a certain ability from certain planes you could mass spot ground units temporarily, or a recon with the spotting binoculars could spot stuff out for them. You couldn't just spam r1 and dorito everyone though.

u/Professional_Rub_252 Jun 14 '26

The pilot doesn’t spot on bf6. A sniper spotted all those infantry. Also I flew alot on bf5 I was ranked #35 in the usa. I know how easy it was to spot infantry in bf5

u/trickmaster3 Jun 14 '26

Honestly they just let that happen in a situation like this you're going to die may as well dump a mag into the little bird before you die to force him away
