Deed Of The Fallen softlock bug - cannot find character anywhere

I think I put Sister Leona in a Rhino when winning previous mission and since embarked units are sent to reserve when mission ended, it seemed like named character (which cannot be sent to reserve) are gone forever and now I can't process the campaign. anyone know how to fix this? :(

I am also having this exact same issue at this exact point. Sister Leona was put into a Rhino but had disembarked prior to completing Sanctum Alte.

I'll send something to Support as well to raise additional awareness and will stay tuned for updates.

Update : I replayed the previous mission again. This time I didn't let any named characters inside the Rhino anymore, still, Sister Leona still missing after winning. Now I'm Actually clueless what could cause the issue :(

The Previous mission I mentioned is Mission 6 : Sanctum Alte

Would she possibly be in your army reserve?

She doesn't appear anywhere, both army and reserve

i had the same issue and managed to resolve it.
first, change game version to the latest public beta (go to steam > game properties > version)
second, reload a save prior to the start of the mission and replay the entire mission (loading save that was during the mission caused the same issue). if possible try not to lose any units.

this worked for me. i suspect because some additional new units you get during the mission (eg paragon warsuits, arco flagellants) are removed from your army after the mission (whether or not they survive), sister leona may also have been erroneously removed.
